Bad Job interview

A few years ago I was on a job interview. I was dressed business casual. When I met the person who was running the interview, I almost walked out. I decided to stay and complete the interview. The interviewer came out of her office wearing jogging pants, a pit tight shirt that said spoiled brat, and was barefoot. Now this was supposed to be a professional medical billing company. I asked a lot of questions that pertained to the job. I did not get one answer from her. There weren't very many people there and were all dressed down. That didn't bother me though. The way the interviewer looked bothered me. I dressed professional and expected the same from her.
An interview I was on many years ago, was in the school system. I had two interviewers. The woman was professional. The man involved in hiring kept his head in his hands, slouched over, and was playing with his keys the entire interview. This was my first job interview out of college. I had no idea what to do. I was mortified that I was treated in an unprofessional manner. I wasn't sure if I should say anything. I chose not too say anything.
I did not get either of these jobs. To be honest they weren't for me. Maybe the job was right, but the people weren't.
What are some of your stories?

You've had some doozies. Funny how you can tell that a job isn't for you just from the interview. I've had a few of these myself.
When I was about 19 or 20 years old, I remember on one of my job interviews that was for a secretarial position, the boss wanted me to go into another office to answer the call coming in that he was going to make to the company. He wanted to hear how my voice sounded on the phone. I can understand that. But the fact that he made me do this about ten times and he was in a different room listening to my voice, sent an alarm off in my head. Needless to say he called me that night to offer me the job. I declined. He called me again the next day to try and get me to change my mind. I lied and told him I got a better offer. The wacko still called again and this time my dad answered the phone and told him to leave me alone or he'll call the cops. Thank goodness he never called again after that.

I have to say I didnt have too many bad interviews, they were all pretty professional. I did have one the woman was a manager of a book store, it was for like borders, so she was business casual and she asked me different weird questions like why did i like books.

I haven't been on that many interviews, but the ones I did go on were all handled very professionally. There were times when I found the interviewer to be too brusque, but they still conducted themselves in a business-like manner.

1st response is right. It should be in the applicants(yours) favor. And we can't complain about them. We're the one who's seeking a job. All we should focus is how to answer their questions properly no matter what the interviewer wears whether it's a casual attire or a swimming wear :p I know it's unprofessional for them but just focus. We should lower down our pride first in cases like this. You want the job then go for the job. You'll never know. Maybe it's just a test for you. Maybe they just want to see how you react. Greetings :)

I have my first story for now because i'm studying but i think you should ignore these bad things. It must be horrible to be treated in an unprofessional way but I'll acept this conditions of the interview for the job. I'd try to be kind with the interviewer and maybe the fact that she wasn't prepared would be in my favour.

I always found it does not look good at all for a company when the person doing the interview does not dress well. I had this once myself when I was 18. The guy looked half a sleep infact looked a mess.
