In India,we have more movies on Human relations, sentiments,Life of oor eole, troubles in families...[Unlike Hollywood movies, where there are wide range of movies on science,fiction,Imaginations..]and it is common scene in theatres that we observe weeing/crying,mainly women.Few male viewvers also tend to weep when such situations come in the movie.Have you observed any where in your area.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I am a cry-baby. I cry for simple reasons that's why my husband don't want to watch dramas with me because my eyes will become puffy and red and i'll have runny nose. Last night, we were watching Mama Mia and in a scene there with mom Donna and daughter having their moment, i cried with them. Oh and try watching Deep End of the Ocean, i cried a lot! and my husband didn't scold me because... just watch it! :-)

I cry while watching emotional situations in movies. I cry do to happiness or sadness. I also don't like to see voilence in movies. I turn my face off from TV if there are voilence scenes. Some people say that the people who cry while watching movies are very light hearted people. I don't agree with that. There are cunning, reserved, and selfish people among that.

Yes I always find myself teary eyed when watching sentimental movies, especially if its about family matter. My tears are low. I get emotional easily. I see myself as part of the movie. I relate not because it happens to me but I can feel their characters. Well it all depends on the actors, actresses and whole production itself. No matter how good the story line is if the casts weren't able give justice on it, it's nothing.

I am a big crier during movies. Sometimes I even cry watching TV shows. Some people say I am a glutton for punishment, because I like to watch these "tear-jerkers", but I just enjoy the human aspect of it.

ya, I cried once, when I 11th class and I was watching a Bollywood movie "Ek Duje Ke Liye", when Kamal Hasan & Rati Agnihotri would not met, I start crying. That movie was very emotional.Although Emotional movie always make you emotional. Sometimes men also weep. I have seen so many weeping during watching movie.

Hi,abhi, there is no difference among men and women to respond for emotional scenes. All light hearted and sensitive people react the same.I too saw the same movie in TELUGU language in which Kamal and saritha acted.
