Would you rather live rich or live being one with nature.

Money for me. It is all very well to say I can exist in the middle of nowhere with the bare necessities.But frankly I cannot. Also, who will provide the bare necessities if you are stone broke? Ultimately, you need money to exist.May be not a great deal but at least some to get by. So, being practical, I would opt for the green stuff.

oh yeah money is the root of all evil thats why they print in god we trust on it. Its not money thats the root of all evil its greed and deception. If the currency was shiney marbles people would then say marbles is the root of all evil. to me its all down to greed if everyone is greedy then no one is safe. anyone can live without money but only to a certain point.

In today's world, one needs money in order to live a normal and decent life. You use money to move from place to place, to buy food, to go to school, to pay your bills. Unless what you mean by living with nature is to lead a hermit's life but even then you will need money to buy food so you don't have to beg. You will also need money for medicines in case you get sick. I wonder what will happen to our world when all people will become hermits. No proper education and no possibility for advancement. That being said too much money is also not advisable unless they are used to help other people and for the advancement of society. The point is living with nature also involves the use of money. At the end of the day, it will depend on our attitude and use of money that will spell out the difference. cheers!

Is this an either/or? Why can't I be rich AND at one with nature as well? It seems to me that only the rich can afford to be at one with nature, the rest of us wage slaves have to work to pay the bills.

Im not really a nature-guy. So i rather live in a city. Dont really want to be rich. Just to have enough for my needs and in some future the needs of my family.

Yeah! The is a great problem. When you don't have enough money is bad, but when you have a lot of money is also a problem. Because you always think about it and that's a big stress. I think that it'll be better when the people life being with themself and with nature.

hi anthony89 yes I suppose one could be happy being one with nature but you still have to have money to buy food, pay the rent, and the daily expenses of living no matter where you live. It is the love of money that causes troubles , not money itself. if you use common sense and not spend more than you'make and live frugally you can always be happy no matter where you are. I for one would not want to live all alone way off from anyone else, I need to have a few people at least in my life and I can be one with the universe no matter where I am.

Hi anthony, I think being a rich man didn't guarantee happiness in our life. For me just enough to eat and my everyday lives is fine.

I would like to live with natures and i could do it even grater if i have the money as i plan to buy an island where I could roam freely on my own exclusively a vacation places and my final resting places. I could say that I would like to choose both, even though one could live with natures the way we are raise today could not fully do what been doing during the stone age without the money and the modern technology-they are co-existence.. Happiness lies within one self and it is just a matters of flexibility. Thus, if you are rich you have plenty of resources to shares it with the less fortunate and at the same time you have still the ability to be closer to natures anytime you want whatever places if you have the money to spent. As even a village life their still need to spend money not all are free and do not have to deprive oneself if you have the resources. You could tastes and enjoy both worlds.

Money is the root of all evil and I believe this with everything I hold dear to my heart. I know I could live without depending on money with nature, the universe, my spirituality and be very happy. Yes I can live with out material things plus I'm one female who hates shopping. I would love to live in a log cabin in the middle of the woods with just the basics and be extremely happy has long as my love is with me.

I would rather live a happy life at peace with myself. If I was rich and got my wealth legitimately then i would have no problem. But the thing is a lot of people make their money by dishonesty and stamping on other people. If i had done that i dont think I would be able to live with myself. Inner peace is worth more than all the money in the world

Me nature. Their are bunch of people dirt poor and they plant all sorts of plants. Ps this includes animals to a point. Some will hunt when their are to many of them. Though that isn't me. Rich is also good if you spend it. To go green then ya I do that or spread make some money while going green to spread even more out.

You can say that becoming one with nature is one thing that will give us the ultimate satisfaction,but people go for shortcuts with money thinking that they can buy something that is not theirs,money is the root of all evil and so is the things that money provide us are like a poison that later will bring discomfort in life,but as you can see man will go to anything for his satisfaction that is even an illusion to blind the truth.often man tends to go to the path of destruction which brings them satisfaction.
