I read one of her books and I enjoyed it but I think the name of it was Harvest. She does have a unique writing style and one thta I enjoy. I think her books are hard hitting and ones that lovers of mystery writing will enjoy. I think she is a good lady and a good writer.

Glad to know that because of mylot's down time, you got to rediscover your passion for reading mysteries. I have not read any books by her but then I don't get to read often anymore. What mysteries I read where from A. Christie, L. Sanders, a few Perry Mason.
Happy posting and happier readings to you !

Hi Aunty, I've got 'Vanish' here and I've read more with the same lead characters in - I wish they'd put a number on the front though when they use the same characters so they can be read in sequence. I love a good book that makes going to bed a waste of time. Hope you're enjoying the next one.

I have heard of the author, but I have not read any of her book. My favorite writer is Dan Brown, writer of the most controversial The Da Vinci Code and his other stories. I just can't put the book down even when I am eating or even when I go to bathroom. I really love his book. The thrill and the action are just too magnificent. Have a nice day. I think that I will try to read Tess Gerritsen's book, because I am out of Dan Brown's book. Have a nice day. Happy mylotting.

Hi Antiquelady,
Tess Gerristsen is not only a really good writer, but she is an amazing writer because she writes in different genres. The Apprentice, The Keepsake And Vanish are three of the mysteries she has written that I have enjoyed. There are more, I just can't remember their titles.
She also writes medical thrillers, which I really like, including Life Support, and Harvest.
In addition, she has several romance novels, but the only one I have read is Peggy Sue Got Murdered. I don't generally read romance, but I do know she has many other titles available. I like how she mixes mystery with romance to keep in interesting.
One thing I really like about her writing, is that if you enjoyed one of her books, you are pretty much guaranteed to enjoy the others. She mixes it up just enough to stay fresh in every new story she tells.

I've read a couple of her books before, and I really enjoyed it. If you like her work, you might also want to read books by Iris Johanssen, Lisa Jackson, Erica Spindler, and even James Patterson. They are equally as entertaining.

I've read one of her books, but it was at least five years ago. I liked it, I remember that much. I think in the book, a guy got hit by a car, and a woman stopped to help him, or maybe it was the woman who was hit by a car...I'm not sure.

Nope, but the best mystery or one of the best was a romantic mystery about three women who grew up in New York together. I can't remember then name now. A co-worker loaned it to me and it followed the lives of the three girls until their respective deaths or old ages and there was murder and all sorts of things in it.
A real rocker of a story. No doubt about that.

No but I would love to. It is a long time since I read a good mystery novel. Have to get to the Cancer society end of month and buy some new secondhand books. Or what they are now calling "gently used". What a joke. Why don't people use plain speech?

This was really a good one. Wish we were close enough to swap books. I don't know why they would change the name. i'm glad to get 2nd hand books. Sure nothing to be ashamed about. They are way too high to buy new but glad some of my friends do, lol.PLAIN speech is fine w/me to.
