Is your cell phone on 24 hours everyday?

Hi shally, Well, of course. I always on my cell phone 24 hours. Even when I sleep I will let it on as I think its would be useful if there any emergency calls coming. So, I think its better be prepared first. In the other hand, I also can used it as an alarm clock.

i have my phone on for 24 hours a day as i have my family back in my home country that i would like them to reach me anytime specially when there is an emergency. i think now a days phones have this auto power save built in that turns off the phone once its not being used but still reachable by people. some said it actually affect you if you put the phone just beside your hear when you sleep but if you put it on a side table or a bit further from you its safe.

My cell phone is always available 24 hours.I never power off my cell phone except when it requires to.It doesn't affect my sleep since I always put it on silent mode when I go to bed.

My cell phone is always on 24 hours except if the battery is low or empty. Because my friend may send me sms or call me. i also use it as alarm.

My mobile phone is on 24*7. I only switch it off while on flight hi hi...that is when I am supposed to switch it off. Recently I went to a planetorium with my kid cousins and I was aked to switch off the phone. I didnt, I just kept it on silent and covered the panel into the deepest pocket of vanity bag. I cant stand it being on off mode.

My phone is on 24/7. When I'm sleeping, I keep it on in case of emergency and someone really needs me. My phone is always on ring, unless I'm at work, school, the movies, or somewhere I need to turn it on silent/vibrate. Keeping my phone on doesn't affect my sleep, at all. I usually don't hear it ring while I'm asleep, anyways :P

My mobile phone is always one 24 hours. I never turn it off. The only time perhaps that I turn it off is when I ride an airplane to comply with safety standards and flight regulations. When I am at home and about to sleep, I just put it on silent mode but never turn it off.

Hi Shally_hh, my cellphone is on almost every hour of the day, except when in the airplane, or during meetings or seminars. Since we do not have a fixed (land) line at home, my cellphone is on through the night as well.

i keep my mobile on for 24 hours , i don't switch off My mobile, i come late night from my office and keep my mobile in ringing mode , in the mornings at around 6 to 7 am my reliever Working in shift will call me for the status of the Work. if i go home to visit my parents in my native place then i shall switch off my mobile.

My cell phone is always on, except when I am charging it. I rarely use it, so it doesn't ring often at all. I use it as an alarm to wake me up in the morning though. My regular alarm clock doesn't always wake me up and I find it much easier to wake up when I have my cell phone alarm set to go off as well.

I always make it a point to keep my cellphone on 24 hours a day unless I ran out of battery. I don't really expect anyone to text me or call me in the middle of the night, but I take it as a precaution just in case something very important has come up. It seldom affects my sleep. I just place it on my night table just so when it rings, I know where to find it.

I keep my phone on 24 hrs but I do not always keep it with me. I turn it off if I want privacy.

i always leave it on vibrate. i have a sidekick without the data plan so if i ever turn my phone off i lose all of my data. so i never turn my phone off unless i really really need to

I never power off my cell phone. Especially because I use it as my alarm so it stays on all night. The only time I would turn off a cell phone is when I don't get service(to save energy), when I'm on an airplane, or if I am at school taking a test where it gets so quiet you can hear my phone on vibrate. lol

Hi Shally! Yes, I keep my cellphone on for 24 hours. Because I have friends and family that reside in other countries. And with the time difference, I get calls like at midnight or 2 or 5 A.M. And also in case of emergency, when something out of the blue happens, at least you can be contacted, to give a hand or even just to get advices. It doesn't affect my sleep at all. Because they seldomly occur. And when you have good friends they take note to be short and straight to the point so you can go back to sleep at once. Lol. (^^,)

Hello shally_hh. I don't leave my cell phone on the whole day. When it is time to have a rest home like taking a nap and having a night sleep, I always turn it off so that I can enjoy my good rest without being bothered by the ringing of the phone.

i do keep my cellphone on 24 hours a day and it does not disturb my sleep. Though i could turn it off at night, i normally dont.

I think you may be using a PDA-type of phone. Some people turn it off because for them it may affect their sleep. Mine is always on. Does not affect my sleep or rest too.

Oh dear,I think I must be one of the very few who doesn't have my phone on all the time.I only switch it on if I'm making a call or sending a text.Have to admit, my son often asks me what's the point of having a mobile if I don't keep it switched on.
