I am so sorry to hear that you have been flooded to your fence line.We live halfway up a hill so if we flood the rest of the village would be drowned. We thank our lucky stars we don't have that worry.I feel so sorry for the people standing up to their knees in water in their own homes. It makes us realise how fortunate we are.I do hope the waters stay where they are.

Thanks. Some of the places are still having flood warning, even though the rain has stopped. The lakes, creeks and rivers are filled to maximum capacity, and the water is still over flowing.

Hello friend. We don't have much rain this year that the rivers in our province are getting shallow that the biggest fresh water lake is getting losing much more water in history. I hope that we will have some more rain for the rivers. So in this case, we don't have any flood.

It's been raining here, off and on for almost a month now. This area is so different from the weather all the way to the soil. If you dig a place, you want to make sure it is not going to rain that week, because the earth will sink right under your feet when you step close to that spot. The ground has never been worked, and is very fertile in some places, while other spots are like rock.

Where I live, it sometimes flood when the rain comes down heavy and non-stop. Because I live in a low-lying area all the water from the rain will settle down in my area and the drainage system here is so bad. I wish the government would do something about the drainage system. It's all about drainage. If the drainage system is good there shouldn't be any floods.

That is true, about the drainage system. I think that is why it has flooded around my fence line, is because of the bad drainage, that is going down toward the creek.

Wow, is that some news. We have had rain for the past month. Now it's running off everywhere, because everything is already too full to hold it. Down by my fenceline, i think it was about a foot or so deep.

Our water has finally started going down now. It rises up so quickly, that it's actually quite scarry, but then in a few hours, it's gone back down ... usually. Our lakes and creeks are about at capacity right now, so it's been a lot of run off flooding too. One of the workers, got trapped in the area, and they had to send someone in this evening, to get him out.
