Hello mylotters,
oh, my not this again. luckily, I was done doing manual laundry of my clothes yesterday but not all of them. it's raining and i forgot to check the news last night, probably i would check on weather news tonight. i hope there isn't a new typhoon coming, this past storms had really cost the lives, business and infrastructure damage to the communities it had passed it on too.
I can hear it's wind and strong rains, so far my cat is okay and sleeping in her house. she must have love it since it's cold but of course she hates the damn wateram glad i have no where else to go through today and just here in the house.
I hope they're won't be any black outs

Hi LetranKnight! It is so difficult for me to relate to your weather over there because here in Australia we have reached spring and although it has been unusually cold for the time of year today it is actually quite sunny and nice.
I do pray that there are no more typhoons, earthquakes and the like...There has been more than enough! It is nice not to go anywhere when the weather is miserable. I’m sure if your kitty stays in the little house you made her she will be fine. Hope your electricity doesn’t go down either.
Oh, well just bear with it and wait for that sun to shine again, because it always does; we just have to remember that...

The effect of the typhoon in Philippines is affecting us badly too. Since we are just neighbors. The tail of the typhoon is sweeping all over the country and it rains dogs and cats every evening. Luckily we are spared from the disasters of floods.

Sydney is quite a long way from us; we're in Western Australia which is on the other side of the country. It would have been scary, that's for sure. The earth is angry, I think...Things are not as they should...I hope it settles soon...

hello Paula,
As I recall, was there a red storm just spark in your country recently? or you were far off from sydney. that red storm was really scary, as if it's the end of the world or you're on another planet or something. as for my country, it's really is normal to have rains here. the only problem is over population and lack of infrastructure, and more trees being cut down., that's why the flood was so great.

I think there's another tropical depression coming. Hopefully it's not as damaging as the past two (Ketsana and Parma). As of this writing, it's still raining, though I'm glad it's not pouring very heavily. Here's wishing for the sun to shine!

hello Moonchild,
oh, no. where is it heading? do you know? well, the rain momentarily stop but it's still dark outside here. i hope it won't be as hard as the other two because those victims can't handle it anymore.

it is not a storm yet. i heard it is still a low pressure area which is in samar or the north of mindanao. in that case, that shouldn't worry both of u. we should be the one worrying because we will be affected with rains and winds. hopefully not that bad and worse as the back-to-back typhoons that the philippines recently had.

Oh no, not again! I hope if doesn't go near Cainta again. We are slowly picking up the pieces (literally and figuratively) and another storm/typhoon could be fatal. Everytime the rain pours I go really nuts thinking that my house will sink again. Nakaka-praning!

hello LetranKnight25,
good for you for you were able to washed your clothes. though it's not all yet. yes, indeed you must check the news first before doing the other half for it will not get dry anyway when it will rain again. besides, the clothes will not smell good if there is no sun.
the news said that there is typhoon coming and hopefully that it's not that strong as the previous. hope that iw will change the direction and never come in our vicinity anymore. not yet, for lots of people is still recovering from the calamity. and the worst thing is, some are still in the evacuation area for they don't have place to go yet.

Hello Robert,
It ain't just but only shorts that I used every day. as of now, it's a bit cloudy
but I can see the sun now. well, there isn't much rain now than it's supposed
to be so i am confident that i will dry sooner or later. no, the tropical
depression didn't entirely hit the country as it's heading towards China Sea. i
don't think they have recovered yet from the Floods.

I guess after those kinds of disasters anybody experiencing rain will think that there's another storm coming.
You also tend to get numbed by all this so that if there is another storm people will not respond as excitedly as before.
Just keep checking the news and remember its never going to be that bad.

Hello Bluepatch,
After being experienced two different storms for just one month, of course
people would expect more since it's rainy season. well, it's already bad as it
is since people's lives are in such a hard situation right now. I only hope that
people had learned they're lesson and start helping each other rather than
pointing any fingers.

Hi Letran,
Like you, I just had my laundry done. Fortunately, my washing machine (which was soaked in mud due to flood brought about by Ondoy) has been repaired by a neighborhood mechanic, and the electricity has just been restored, so I took advantage of it coz God only knows until when it will last, at the rate things are going, it could go off again (I so hope not).
But it has started raining non-stop since yesterday and until this morning, if it goes on for another 2 days my place might be flooded with water again, so I'm really hoping that the rain will get tired and get some rest, and give us (particularly the ones who are mostly affected), some rest also from being flooded. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Hello Doryvien,
I never used Washing Machine even if we had one that wasn't used for
almost five years. it's too expensive for water use and electric bill, besides we prefer hand wash instead it's a lot efficent even though it can be tiring sometimes. for, there hasn't been a rain here since this morning i do hope the tropical depression leave our country for good.

Hello LetranKnight25,
I live on Southern East Coast of the United States. I know all to well about the trials and tribulations of the tropical storms and hurricans, or typhoons as you guys around the world call them. I remember once in 1996 when hurricane Fran hit us pretty hard, we didn't have electric power for over a week. The downed trees and power lines made it almost impossible to drive more than 8 or 9 miles from home so it was hard to get anywhere, and when we did, they were closed because they had no power. I remember when a nearby town had gotten their power back for the first time, and a rumor started that the movie theatre would be re-opening that night, how excited we were. We all loaded up, drove through many flooded streets to get to town, but the air-conditioned movie theatre with cold drinks and hot popcorn was well worth it. I have never been so happy to see a movie in all my life!!

Hello heft hook lacey,
wow that's good you get to see a movie when the electricity starts coming
back to your city. hurricanes a lot worse too it can take out the whole house.
but the flood is such as bad since it has destroyed crops with millions of
dollars, leaving people hungry and food and vegetable prices increasing. glad
your still alive till this day.

Hello zandi458,
While wait for it to get worse when you can buy one now. or at least use the Electric fan to at least dry your clothes slowly. if your country is succeeders from the storms that we are receiving i suggest you do it before you might experience black outs as well.

Hello friend. While you were having a lot of rain, here in the south part of China, we have not had enough rain that some rivers do not have enough river water to fill the two of the biggest lakes in China--Dongtin Lake and Boyang Lake. The water level in the lakes is dropping to the minimum in history. I wish to have more rain here for the good of the farming and people's life.

Yes it is raining again there's a low pressure area in Visayas. PAG-ASA said it not going to be a typhoon. Yesterday I did our laundry and I thought the sun going to show up longer. Up to know our clothes are still wet. The rain is not hard compared to the past typhoons that hits us.

Hello JeriMiyah,
Yes, it is. but it seems that a lot more were infected by it compare the last time. through global warming and climate change i guess it's not impossible if the flood goes higher than it should be. we should all be prepared when it hit us very

I think that best thing we can do is to pray that nothing wrong should happen. Luckily there is no bad incidents happening at my place.

Hello Inking,
So far, there are clouds here but it hasn't really rain yet unlike yesterday. i
sure hope it won't or my clothes will never get dry. this is hard when you're
doing laundry during the rainy season, it's just so hard to have it dry. well, i
like the coldness because i can sleep pretty well. have a great day.

Yeah it's raining again. I thought the low pressure area was way way down in Mindanao but then it is raining here in Luzon. What a nice weather forecast by our trusted and "self proclaimed accurate" weather station in our country.

Hello hexeduser22,
Oh, it's Mindanao right now, men the storms are hitting all over Luzon. good
thing about there in Mindanao is that they have Mountains to protect them
from the floods where the waters can be diverted to another area. well,
PAGASA is really old now and i doubt their technology can predict the
weather very much accurately.
