Travel, for sure. If there's enough left for a nice house on the beach, then it's ok, but if not... i'll take the round-the-world trip! There are so many places to visit or to live for a while that my only problem would be choosing where I go first! :))

I go with travel, it is a dream of mine to travel the world so why not do it. For me having my own house and cars is not a priority, my priority now is to fulfilled my dreams and that is to travel the world. I can still rent or ride public transport, what important is i achived that dream and hope that that experience will make me work harder and harder in accomplishing my goal.

It depends on what does "a lot of money" mean?Someobody will think that 100 thousand is a big sum, if I only get that money, surely I will consider what I should do next, saying creating a business.
If the amount is more larger than that, surely I will donate part of them to the charity party, some of the mount to the business and go to travel as well.
Just wonder when I can get a lot of money that I don't need to concern my life.

I have family to worry about, so the first thing I'd do is secure a modest home that I can afford, depending on how much money I get. It doesn't need to be a big, nice house... just big enough for us. I'd also have to spend some money to furnish the house because my furniture isn't very good anymore. I'd probably buy a new car too, and fix up one of the ones we have, but I would not need a brand new car, just one that will work and be reliable.
After that I would travel as much as I could with whatever money was left. I would love to see the world!! If it weren't for the kids I'd skip the house and cars and jsut travel!

If I would receive a lot of money, I would definitely save it. I wouldn't spend it, but save it. I will invest it for a good business. A great investment for my future and mo money will grow. When it happens, that's the time I will try to spend it, first by buying myself a house and travel.

I really would just be happy to pay off my house and just do some things that I have wanted to do.
I am not so big on travel, but would like to fix somethings around my house that would be like being on vacation, like building a big deck. I also would donate some money to two charities that I like a lot. I know you will all laugh but there are also some people I have met on here that could really use some help and I would want to help them as well.

My husband and I would like to do some travellling, but only if we save some of it first. We want to make sure that we have enough money to take care of a comfortable future, and then we will take the rest, and travel somewhere. We are happy in our little apartment, and we really want to see the world.

It is a though question, because I really love travelling. On the other hand my husband and I have found our dream house and it is too expensive for us, so if I suddenly received a lot of money I would love to spend it on the house. I would like to buy the house, and give it to my husband as a surprice. I know that he would be really happy, and I also like the house and the village where the house is, I think it would be great to live there It would be tempting to spend the money on travelling, but I think I would end up spending it on the house instead.

It really depends on the amount. If there's enough, I don't see why I can't do everything, lol. If the amount limits me to just one option, I think I'd still split it. I'd probably go to Europe and put down a big chunk of it for the down payment of a house. This way, I can both seize the day and invest. I'm just fantasizing here, of course. :)

I am not very fond of travelling. If I recieve a lot of money on a sudden, I would prefer to buy a house or a vehicle. If you ask the same question to my husband, he will say that he will go for an international trip. He is a travelling freak. I am intersted to shop from the place we visit instead of sightseeing. I also interested to try different dishes in various places.

Wow, lucky guy! As for me, of course I would invest that money to something valuable. I'm not saying that travelling isn't valuable, but it's not a priority for me. I would buy a house without any question asked because I don't have my own house yet. As for travelling, you still can work on it later.

i would build a house first and buy a car before i go traveling. traveling can't go on forever and it'd be really nice that after traveling, there's a house that you could come home to. it hsa always been my dream to build my dream house and if were given money, i would surely spend it on this dream.
