A cruise, just me. I'd love the solitude of a cabin alone, the thought of laying in a lounge chair on deck sleeping the day away alone or reading. Just a few days to myself I think it would b awsome, anyone else ever think of getting away alone?

it is good to travel on your own.it is a great way to treat and pamper yourself.getting away on your own is great way to think about what you really feel and listen to your innermost self.when you come back to your family, you'll feel energized.it's great travel on your own with you own thoughts and feelings as company.

Oh yes!! I have had my moments, when i am stressed out, where i think, going off alone, somewhere nice, to just chill out, and be waited on, and relax for a few days, sounds heavenly. I think us mums, do need a break from time to time, kids are hard work, and it can become very stressful, so time to escape, and just chill out sounds wonderful!..

I hope that you will go on cruise and really enjoy yourself. I wouldn't be able to get away on vacation alone. I have a disabled son that and a young baby. They both need my care. My last vacation was when I was seventeen weeks pregnant with my baby girl and I took my toddler son. We flew 12 hours away from London to Cape Town. I really love traveling.

me, me, me! The first week of Nov, after soccer games and practices are over and my husband has vacation time so he will stay with the kids, I'm going to take off for three days and enjoy some solitude. Not a cruise though, which would be ideal truly, but I'm just going to the Washington coast, about an hour away, not warm this time of year but beautiful anyway. I'll probably find a spa and get a massage and do whatever I want to do for a change. I love my family, but I have five kids ages ten to nineteen, and it gets a little overwhelming at times, as I'm sure you know.....

All my kids also have grown up.I also have thought about this often .The funny thing is most moms wouldn't avail of this opportunity even if there was a moms' holiday.Anyway I do dream of going to new places, meeting new people ,tasting new food just being ourselves.

hi there, I think it would be great for mother's to spend time alone at some time. It will be a good break i guess. Likewise it would be a good time for them to relax and rejuvenate. When i'll be a mother i definitely want a little break every now and then.

Absolutely! I also have three children however my youngest is 8 and still a bit young for me to be gone for too long. I am a single parent with no family for 2000 kms. so it isn't an option yet. I recently joined up yoga and nia as a way to get away from the stresses of life. I have a plan that when the kids are old enough to be on their own I want to bike across canada and camp as a go. I think this would be a freeing experience and I would love being in touch with my country. :)

YES, I am also the mother of three, and I think about how wonderful it would be to have alone time. The cruise is a great idea. I dream about the beach. They should market a Mom's get away cruise. I am sure there are a lot of Moms ready for a retreat.
