I am so glad to check my salary today that that half of the 13th month pay is already
included in our salary today. Maybe the management decided to included
this cut off because many employees suffered from the two super typhoon that came in
our place and due to recession. Many of the employees are very happy of this early
Christmas bonus. Others are not happy because they want this to be release on
Christmas. what about yours? Does your 13th month pay included on your salary this cut
off?

hello rberon,
Congratulations. i think it's better that they did that because a lot of people need money. if not to those who were victims, but it's probably to their relatives who have been a victim of flood and disaster. a lot of my relative had been otrn in one of the provinces. well, that's nice gift for your christmas.

Thanks letran. But I really need to budget this money since I will not be getting any
salary by the month end, because i float for almost one cut off. So the money that
I've got is for all my allowances, for my family and i am planning to invest few
amount of it in some legitimate sites in the internet. I hope I would be successful
to it. thanks for your input. happy mylotting!

Well, over here, we don't get our 13th month pay until near Christmas period. So, it's still around 2 months away from now. So far, we had not heard anything about our 13th month pay at all. I do hope that it's not reduced or taken away due to the poor performance of the company...
Well, I'm happy for you that you got yours. Although it's early, at least it's guaranteed that you at least got half of it. You may never know that the company will give the other half during Christmas period.

Thank you so much for your response. i am planning to save some amount for Christmas.
Or maybe some amount will be invested in the legitimate site that i belong. I just

my investment to 5 dollars so i will have more earnings. happy

I am not as lucky as you because I quit working in April in order to take care of my sick mom. But in this regard, I feel that the giving of the Christmas bonus this early is like a temporary fix for people who have been affected by the storms. Government suggested this to private and Government owned agencies because they have no funds or programs that can help those that were affected. Up to now, they are still reeling from their inadequacy to respond to disaster situations that when I watch the news I see that its as if they have no idea where to start.
But I am happy that you have received your bonus this early. Just don't spend it all at once because it will be much harder come Christmas and you have nothing to spend.

Your management is kind hearted to include half of your 13th Month on your salary. In my company I think they plan to do the same but they see piles of loan papers submmitted by our messenger to SSS and Pag-ibig for calamity loan, I think they change their mind to do their part as our employeer. Well calamity loan which they promise to be available within 3 days is still unavailable 3 weeks now. How good is our government!

hello rberon1985,
wow! that's good. your chrismas is so early. thay will be of great help to everyone especially those that were affected by the typhoon lately. others were not happy maybe because they are afraid that they might spend it as early as now which is suppose to be on christmas.
ours will be given usually at the end next month which is just fine for the holiday.

Im so sad, we haven't receive our 13th month pay,i don't know why.We are waiting for it,hope the local government will give our 13th month pay as soon they receive the funds. You are right rberon1985 people needs it today because of what the people experienced from the two typhoon who left millions or billions of damages and hundreds of lives passed away because of that calamity, they must give it now so that the people can survive and start all over again.

Hi rberon,
Wow, early bonus! You must really feel great.
We will be releasing our 13th Month Pay as scheduled, which is on the first week of November. Well it's not going to be a long wait from now, and everybody is excited. Somebody asked me if we will give advance payment to those who were badly affected by the typhoons, but we decided to stick to the schedule since it's just a few days away.

That is great. Early release of 13th month pay. Enjoy the fruits of your labor but don't forget to save for the holiday. I understand that once you have the money it is so easy to spend and you'll be surprise where all you money go. So, again save some my friend. Anyway, you still have the other half right. Ok spend it wisely.
Our 13th month is usually given 10th day of November and that will be next month so our turn to enjoy the fruits of our labor too.

I am self employed so I dont have a salary but my family is very happy about the news of giving out the 13th month pay early because my two siblings have received theirs already. this will be very helpful for us since we were directly hit by the first typhoon, ondoy. Though we were not as badly hit as the others, we will still be needing the money to buy some of the stuff, especially furniture, we lost during the flooding. actually, just this afternoon, my sister gave my mother and I the money to buy a new sofa so we headed quickly to find one. My mom and i ended up having our old one repaired instead because we felt that it would be the best thing to do. we will just set aside the rest of the money from my sister's 13th month pay for emergency use in the future. better be ready this time! congratulations to you and to all those who have received and who will be receiving their soon!

hi! we can really appreciate the money coming in to our pay cheque during times when people needed it most. economically speaking, many people are finding it financially hard to recover from the aftermath of the recent typhoons... rich and poor alike... much more so on the poor. so to receive additional cash around this time is a great welcome to everyone especially when the christmas period is just around the corner.
back when i was employed by an international ngo, we usually have half the 13th month bonus either on the 15th or 30th of september. it's the company's discretion when to give it, for as long as they give before the year is out. :)
since i became a freelancer, bonuses like that is one of the things i missed. hehehe but it's fine. and now that i have finally started a new business, i'm earning bonuses anyway. so it's no longer missed. hehe
let us all be thankful for the blessings we receive each day. each day that we can spend with our love ones, happy and secured in our homes... are everyday gifts to be thankful for. my sister's family and several friends we know have been hit hard in the last typhoon. many have lost their homes and everything in it. but i guess they are more fortunate than those who have lost more than the material things.
anyways, have fun with the bonus. the other half i think will arrive just before christmas.
