Dear friend,
I do not keep alaram usually, but I do keep if I want to get up the sharp time. Moreover the urgency for waking up earlier is also noted. I usually wake up without alaram. But if I have to get up for specific important matter I would keep alaram or may be I would tell others to just wake me up.

Well I used to when I was a school going kid but now I am so much used to getting up early in the morning at 6:00 AM that I don't need to used the alarm anymore, but yes I do use alarm when I need to take medicines or got some urgent work so as to remind me, because I am a very forgetful person.I tend to forget every little thing if I don't set a reminder or an alarm otherwise I don't need an alarm to wake up early in the morning

hello neelimaravi,
yes, i do set the alarm too so my wife can wake up early. she needs to prepare our breakfast and snacks for the kids too. also the hot water for us to use in taking a bath.
before 6:30 in the morning we must be all set to avoid the traffic. this way i can bring the kids early and arrive in the office on time too.

I do set an alarm using my cellphone because it has several alarms feature where I just program all the alarms that need alarming for the whole week. This includes all my schedules such as classes starts and ends (I teach part time in the University) and the time I need to fetch my little brother in school, to the time of laundry (and day I do it) etc.
It's amazing how a simple cellphone helps out my little busy week.

I do set my alarm every day. I could sleep in as I don't go to work until 2pm but I like to get up early and start the day. Once in a while I guess I must need the extra sleep and I do sleep thru the alarm. On most days, however, I wake up before it. The alarm just helps me on days when I work the nite before especially because I don't usually get to bed until like 1:30am.

I used to set an alram to get up in the morning. I used to snooze it a lot of times before getting up. Now, I live in a hostel and my husband lives in a different country. His call is an alarm for me now. He calls me at a particular time every morning. I will come out of my sleep afer talking with him for 10-15 minutes. So, there is no point of snoozing the alarm.

Hi Daliaj,
I experience the same too whn i worked in the United States. My husband is in the Philippines and we have 123 hours difference. So when its night in the US it's morning in the Philippines. So, my husband served as my alamr clock too. He woke me up with his call. I love it. Imagine the first voice that you will hear every morning is the voice of your husband??!!! So sweet right?

Yes, I do because I know that if I don't do it, I would not be able to wake up on time. I'll be late for work. My sleep could get so deep, especially when it's raining outside because the temperature becomes cool and relaxing. Sometimes I even have trouble waking up even though I have already set the alarm, so what more if I don't set the alarm?

Hi neelima,
I used to set alarm regularly and get up at 5.30 am everyday. Few minutes i feel drowsy but when we think of preparing breakfast and lunch ,i too will start dancing in the kitchen. Sometimes i feel like it will be very good if someone wakes me up with bed coffee or bed tea in the early morning. But my husband will never wake up early. so always that task will be on my shoulders only.

setting alarm is important for my husband as he needs to get up early morning and leave for his office if we dont set an alarm may be sometimes i wake my husband but sometimes it is also possible that we dont get up eary and may be it will get late. our sleeping time in the night is not fixed and it may vary and hence sometimes it may be early to go to bed and sometimes it is late and so may be waking up time also varies.

yes indeed, I always set the alarm at 5 in the morning during schooldays and it's tiresome but rewarding because it helps me finish preparing breakfast and wake my kids for school. I would not know what to do without the alarm. This is a great help because I work at four in the afternoon and go home at midnight, so I always have the fear that I would wake up late. I make sure that I would wake at the right time. Anyhow, I can always take a nap after preparing our lunch. Thanks for taking this up. Have a nice day!

Hi, I am retired and follow a set type of routine schedule. I do not keep any alarm clock to wake me up in the morning.I automatically wake up in the morning for my morning walking and proceed to work accordingly.Nothing to worry and no stress.Things go automatically by planning everyday's schedule.Thanks. Happy mylotting.
