What is your favorite type of movie? Do you prefer funny movies, scary movies, action movies? I like a variety of all. It is hard to choose which type is my favorite. I love funny movies. I like a good scary movie too, but I haven't seen one that has really scared me in a long time. Do you have any suggestions for a good movie?

I like history based movies where secrets are revealed one by one and the scenerio gives the last effect. Like mummy returns and national tresure which are my fav. movies.
I love comedy one too as it makes me feel fresh and make my day with laughter. but usually i watch hindi comedy movies.

Hi, I enjoy watching horror as well as murder mysteries and crime investigations. Funny movies are fun too, though I prefer watching Rowan Atkinson (Mr Bean) or Jim Carrey to others.

well i like horror movies because they thrill me a lot and when I am watching a movie with my girl friend, it makes me more happy as i can touch here and take good advantage of her emotions. I also like romantic movies and particularly from India. Indian movies are worth watching as it has good romantic songs and good story as well...

...Hi cjfoust, I lov movies. Funny movies, action movies, dramas, half-way scary movies. I say that because I watched the movie "Looking For Mister Goodbar", and had terrible nightmares, as I believe the theme of the movie entered my sub-conscious. So I am careful with very scary movies and a lot of gore. I really like contemporary dramas, with good dialogue. I don't like to watch movieswhich seem to undermine your mentality and make you wonder why the writing was not better. But then maybe I'm too critical sometines. :o). Overall I like movies. One of my favorite, kind of old, non-contemporary, but good movies was "Chariots of Fire". Sorry I can't recommend any scary ones. Take care.

I used to be a movie addict. I went to movie theatres atleast three times a week before. But, these days, with my full time job taking most of the time each day, I rarely get to see movies. As far as my preference is concerned, I like comedies. That's relaxing and enjoyable. Once in a while, I like watching musicals too. That's very enjoyable too.

I love romantic comedy or just plain comedy. I like to laugh when I'm passive and the times I'm passive is when I read and watch a movie, so prefer to watch something that makes me laugh. It's medicine for a lazy day.

i love funny and romantic movies like chick flicks. i'm not really into the heavy kind of movies like drama. i also like a little bit of horror but not the gross type where there are lots of blood and heads are being cut off. but the best are really funny movies like white chicks. that really tickled my bones. haha. ^^

My favorite kind of movie is a Horror flick. I like the occasional drama, but it has to be a real good one in order for me to be interested. I also love those action movies.

I love movies from all genres too but my most favorite type of movie is one with a twist at the end. It doesn't matter if it's comedy or horror or drama. I want a twist at the end. But it takes a really accomplished film-maker to create such movies with a believable twist at the end. I like the ones that M.Night Shyamalan used to make with The Sixth Sense, The Unbreakable and The Village. His later movies are not as believable even borders on the ridiculous as in The Happening.
Horror movies nowadays are more like gorefest so I don't really like them. I would appreciate horror movies that don't depend too much on the gore but more psychological in nature like Gothika and recently Orphan. I would recommend Orphan as a good horror movie. The child actress in that movie was really good. She really managed to make you like her at first and then slowly she showed her dark side and that's when you begin to hate her so much so that you would really like to drown her yourself at the end of the movie.

The sci-fi movie created by the Hollywood is my favorite. In China, most of the foreign movies are drew from America, as well as a small part of French movies these years. I think the Hollywood's sci-fi movie is representative of the highest level in the world, the most recent movies such as Transformers2 and Special force have attracted millions of Chinese people. I also enjoy the funny movies, both the American ones and Chinese ones, for the quality of a comedy movie mostly depends on the player's marvelous action and the ridiculous storyline, so my country also have a lot of classic funny movies. As for the American ones, American Pie is the most famous one among Chinese youngsters, it's really funny and ridiculous, isn't it? :D
