Do you find some responses to your discussions stupid?

Hi barbiejune! Well, I won't really say stupid. It's just that some responses are so difficult to understand. There are also those that are not related to the discussion at hand. And sometimes, there are also those responses that were posted just for the sake of responding to the discussions. Oh well, that's just how it is I guess.

Yes, it is really annoying when you get such stupid responses which have absolutely no 'link' with the subject matter being discussed. Some My-lotters just like to add numbers and do not seem to care for 'Quality'.

I never experience that my friend. All people that I responded and commented on their discussion. They are replying back with respect...Have a nice day!

until now, i think i have not. but i just fell every one has his or her own or different opinions. just let them to be them.

Boy, did I have to respond to this one !! there are some members who come up with some stupid stuff to talk about and some of it rubbish. I answered one yesterday trying to be helpful and got a response back telling me I didn't fully understand--- I did answer back but told them someone needed help and I hoped they had the friendship to help the first one cuz they were in deep trouble. Still, tho, discussions get way out of hand and so dumb I just delete them. thanks, quita88

I have started some discussions and people have responded and by what they responded with I think they didn't read my post. And if I think that I will usually write back and ask them if they even read my post before they replied to it. I hate when people just reply to get the money and they don't even read what I posted and then they reply with something that doesn't even make sense to my discussion.

Lol!!! Yes, i have seen that. I also have seen some pretty stupid discussions. Not saying this is one of them. The stupid ones i just laugh and move on. They are too stupid to respond. Lol!!! One was like "when your sleeping what noises keep you awake?" I had to respond. LOL!!! I told him when im sleeping nothing keeps me awake but before i fall aseep i may hear thr neighbor playing video games.

yes, at times. it usually means they havent read the whole question/explaination after the headline. i think some just see a headline and answer because they are in a hurry, maybe thinking if they answer a lot of discussions it will increase their earnings. they dont seem to realise they need to find what they are interested in and really get into it with a longer response. that makes more earnings. and they will get to enjoy being here. the only time i reply to a discussion im not that into, is if i feel i should return a favor to one that responded to mine and i cant find anything to relate with.

Oh my gosh yes! I had a discussion, asking I think up to 3 different questions (all related) and this one random persons' response was, "Hello"...I didn't respond to it at all and even commented on the next persons' response, pretty much saying, "Who does that?? They're not even earning a penny." They is a Spamming rule on here right?

I personally haven't received any stupid response but I have had responses that had no relevance to my post before. I have seen some stupid responses on other peoples posts.

Yes I have noticed this many times. This happens when they don't care to read the discussions fully and properly to understand the actual meaning of it. Most of us are very eager to earn a cent very badly and so I let this pass.

I sent one comment but no response since i am new i am not very sure but i answer to all the discussion sent to my mail.

yeah,but ...yes.some responses is stupid,but,here is bbs ,anyone can speaking something here,here is a free place,you know,the web2.0 means we can do anything thing on the web.Actually you can't control this,cuz everyone is different you know,everyone got differen't mind,may be you think someone stupid but the others think this guy who responses your task is cool...... so ....this is internet...

hi barbiejune yes I have but I try to find out if this responder'was from another country and had English as his or her second language. That may account for some responses that seem lame and maybe stupid. again there are some that refuse to read all of our discussions so just respond willy nilly to the title. If the title is sort of a come on, you may get some really foolish responses from people too lazy to bother reading all the discussion as mylot says that they must.

I haven't really found any of my discussions to receive comments that were unrelated or lame. Generally folks stay on topic and give great feedback. I'm going to do a test run and write a random but crazy discussion topic and see what happens. Hopefully, I'll get a mixed bag of great and weird responses.

Yes , i'm ever seen it on my response and other mylotter's . I think maybe they are only seen a headlines. Perhaps almost of us ever did it. Thanks

no most of the time i find them to be helpful at times and of course people just seem to write what ever that may not be related to what your discussion is about. any ways i hope this wasnt a stupid response lol.

Hi Barbiejune, I"m new to Mylot so any reponse I receive I'm happy. I appreciate someone taking the time to respond no matter how silly,goofy or poorly written. I am guilty of leaving stupid comments. I'm having fun in mylot land responding to the discussions. I'm sure over time It will improve my ablities to respond with better quality. well either someone truly is stupid, or they don't misunderstand what your saying, or they trying to be funnt.
