It was my first time to travel and went to Boracay this year. Where else can I go that can keep up with the budget? I really love Boracay! I kept telling myself then that its still a beach, I can always go to Puerto Galera at not too much cost. But it was way different than Galera, especially the people and the beach, maybe because it was off peak when I went there. It was just crazy gorgeous.
Where else can you suggest I can go and around what time of the year should I?
Help me my fellowmen! Im excited to have my second plane ride haha!

hello redphile!
maybe you can try visiting cebu, coz we also have nice beaches here... and from here you can also go to bohol...
i think it will not be that expensive since airlines companies always have some promos as long as you book early...
maybe the best time would be on summer...
have a nice day & hope you'll enjoy your next trip!

Have you been to Bohol? If not try to visit Panglao in Tagbilaran Bohol. After you visit Panglao you can also go to other nice spots like the Hinagdanan Cave, Chocolate Hills, the floating restaurant in Lobok. Cebu also has very nice beaches.

You might try visiting Bohol. I haven't been to Boracay, but I have been to Bohol and so far I love that place. In Panglao beach resort they say is comparable to Boracay beaches but it may not be as developed as Boracay still in terms of amenities and roads.

Summer would make those hills the brown color. We went there in August and it was not that brown at all. If you really want to explore the place there are many that you can visit there like the Loboc River where you can eat your lunch on a river boat. Then the next attraction is seeing the Tarsiers there.

BOracay is one great place! I have always thought that its just the same with other white beaches or just the same as Puerto Galera, but I was wrong. It was amazing to see the blue waters especially underwater when I got the chance to do helmet diving! You should try it! Yes it is expensive but if you travel in a group, you can save up. I actually booked my tickets 3 months ahead, because I was so excited that when I decided, I looked for flights and also it was in time for my anniversary and birthday so when I got a P1,500 roundtrip fare well I purchased it online right away! You can get promos as low as that, oh maybe because it was off peak season. =) Yes those are on my list already! Hopefully I can finish them all by next year =)

I have been to Tagaytay like twice and I would love to go back because of the cool wind, I have been to Batangas many times but not the white beaches only the black ones haha! I think you have to take a bot before you can get to the best white beaches there. Lomi! Yum! Makes me want to eat lunch now haha!

i have been to ilocos and the way there was exhausting because we took a bus =) But I ave never been to Laoag, Pgudpud Beach, Paoay church.. those are the places that I have been wanting to go to. I might take a plane instead to have more time for travelling! Banawe is also one place that I want to visit, cold climate and different environment. Motorcyle thats cool! I actually use a motorcycle as a service going to work but I dont think I can make it with that long travel! =)

if you do live in a fast paced life, you should take the plane. but its really different riding it out on a motorcycle. just make sure your motorcycle is in good condition and bring a spare sparkplug and tire interior. and you need to be with friends during the ride, you may wanna get it touch with local bikers club in your area, the trip it is exhausting but really rewarding. it is a different kind of thrill

Oh Boracay! wish i can travel there soon. Its one of many beaches i would like to visit and i would make it happen very soon. As for suggestion, you can try our beaches here in Davao, we have lots of beautiful beaches here and also try the ziplining, snorkling and many others things you can do here. You can also visit Dumaguete as i've heard about many beautiful beaches there too. Well all i can say is that travelling around the Philippines is really fun.

I suggest that you visit Bohol Island to see the beautiful Chocolate Hills. You might enjoy seeing such an amazing looking place. Also it has some pretty white sandy palm fringed beaches. I would say that Boracay and Puerto Galera are very popular destinations especially for international tourists. I would so love to visit the Philippines and hopefully I will do some day.

Hi there Red Phile!
Well, since you love Boracay, I would suggest that you come back and this time around, you can also go to the beaches of Jawili on your way home. You can visit The Wassenaar Beach Resort on your way home if you will board on a plane from Kalibo Airport.

Hi there! Boracay is indeed beautiful, especially during the off-peak months. People rave about the sunset but I think waking up to see the clear waters and white sand of Boracay is the best!!! Regarding your next trip? Have you ever been to Bacolod? You might want to consider going there... There are beaches just a few minutes away from the city and historical places as well. Though I haven't been to Tugegarao, I've heard from friends that it's also a nice place to go to if you want to get away from the city. I hope this helps! Are you considering going to another country as well? :))
