I think not. A computer is designed to server humans, not work instead of them. The computer can't control the market, can't own the world for themselves(they can't even start working for themselves), the can't feel and act like a human being, or express like a human being. No matter how fast, how much memory or disk space they have, computers can't replace humans. As I said before, they're made to serve humans, to replace some sort of things and make us an easier life.

As crazy as this sounds I really think that this will eventually take place! Computer chips and microprocessors are becoming that much smaller every year and there's some serious thinking taking place regarding future robots and robot companions. This is the stuff of sci fi movies but it's all slowly starting to become a reality now. They are talking about inserting computer chips into human brains in order to help with certain health conditions and it's absolutely fantastic. I definitely have an enthusiasm for all things computer, not forgetting our robot friends. I think that there is intense study now in relation to Artificial Intelligence. They are even starting to program robots to have very basic communication skills with the human species, I like it! I want to live forever so that I can see these exciting future events! Andrew

Nope. Its is comparable to the question "Can man replace God?". Can the creator be replaced by the one he creates. I don't think so. Computers are great tools for man to further involved and enhance our intelligence, ease our work and improve our life.

Well that is not possible as we are the ones who created it and our knowledge or experience cannot be matched with it.surely computer is faster and advanced and there are also A.I in it that gives only a quarter possibility that it do posses qualities, but i can say they are our loyal servants who serve us that our brain cant be matched,we need help from pcs we are depended on it in terms of almost everything we do,but i can say we can equal them not above us

I feel that coputers have already replaced humans. Just take a look at the postal service. Do you really think people use snail mail through the post office as much or more than people who use e-mail and fax messages? Do you realize how many people do not have jobs due to machines? There are many jobs that replaced humans with computer technology.

The only place computers can replace human beings is in factories and industrial plants. Robotics technology is so advanced that they can do better than humans when it comes to precision and quality of output. But to replace human beings as a whole is utterly impossible. Computers basically are composed of switches which are either on or off. Lifeless and even the word artificial intelligence is used, it is not intelligent in the real sense of the word. NO, it will never replace human beings.
cheers!

the computer will not replace humans, and can not do anything without human assistance. Humans can think, while the computer does not, the computer is a machine made by human. Computers containing instructions binary code 0 and 1, this proves humans are smarter than the machine.

I dont think it will be ever possible to replace humans by computers. machines are very efficient when we compare them with humans but when the time come to think , have feelings and emmotions. i think by the time machine does not have these things. and even if by artificial intelligence if we ever put these things i dont think those are going to be helpful as every body will know that those are not genuine.

From where I stand, computers can only support the man and they have no ability to replace human intelligence forever.
Although the computers are becoming more and more strong, they are made to lack the creativity of humanity. On the other hand, you see, the God has created us and left the whole world for us to control. No one except the God can create something new that could replace us human beings.
No matter when the world changes, the computer is just a tool for us human beings. So don't worry about it.

I think:impossible, because the computer does not have people's feeling, the computer may be unable to go beyond the human brain.

definitely not, they cannot replace humans, computers were just made to make task easier for human, without human interventions, these computers will malfunction. clogged and later will stop functioning, they are programmed but sooner or later they will stop without maintenance from human. In my opinion, Computers will not survive without human intervention but human will survive without these computers.

Hello dsnachiever. Hope you are in good health. Eventhough computer becomes a part of life necessity, still it cannot replace the role of a human being. A computer is just a type of machine that requires a good brain of human in order to operate. Without the key person, a computer cannot be configure. Its settings cannot be set and the program cannot be use if nobody like us will handle its operation. Besides, if the computer hang-up, the machine itself cannot turn-off except if somebody will do it. Aside from that, computer's only source of power comes from current or on its battery pack wherein the source of power that comes in the brain of a human comes from God who supplies all our needs.

hi dsnachiever, Computer is a technology introduced by human for doing some little tasks. It was not invented to replace humans, but to help us. It is necessary to do things in better and efficient way. But i never think they can replace humans. We have a sense to work but the computers cannot.
