My answer is yes. Every time when I am waiting for the bus, I always give the petty cash to the begger if I have. I just think that one dollar will not change my life, but the beggar. I heard a lot of tricking story of the beggar as they may be richer than you or some of them maybe the millionare that you can not imagine. Some of the beggar did not worth of giving. How about you? WIll you give the money to the beggar? How do you identify whether it is the real beggar?

I give money to those beggars who are really in need of money. I have seen very healthy people begging. Even children with nohandicaps are out to earn fast bucks by begging. I do not give these people a penny. More than giving money to beggars, I give money to poor who live in our neighbourhood and sometimes raw materilas to cook. Here beggars are very demanding, they ask for the amount they need. And they throw back or snap at us for giving them money they think is inapropriate!!! Some are very pestering while demanding money!!!

The other day , I went to a shopping area which comprises of malls, movie halls and hawkers. The area is quite old. As soon as we got off the car, my friend approached a hawker to buy some handkerchiefs. while looking out for diffrent patterns, an old lady came and murmered something to this shopkeeper. He took out some money and gave her. When she left, I saw that she left behing more than 200hundred coins she collected since the morning till noon.!!! Most of them earn more than what we earn a day hi hi

Wow,The old lady is quite good at picking the time when she would like to beg for the money. In such case, while most of the customers are picking up the stuff from the hawkers, then get the money from their wallet, it is quite a big chance that they will give the money to the beggars too.

Thanks for your response. If I did not have a penny in my wallet, I will pretend that I did not see the beggar there and walk away. Sometimes it is really annoying for those who are pestering while demanding money. It seems that you must give money to them otherwise they will keep disturbing you. Happy mylotting.

It depends. If someone really need help,I would like to give him.But some people I don't want to give.I think they are stronger than me ,and look like healthy people ,why not take a job.I don't want to give my money to a lazy person.

I think I have magnet for every beggars whatever places i go be on the church, markets or outside the shopping mall. A beggar would always appear in front of me and beg. Sometimes I have no money to give, I give them food. While, my brother do not like to give to the beggar as in doing were tolerating them to be lazy when in fact they have complete bodies and not yet disabled could still work. Thus, were entirely different from those aspects as my brother do not like to gives even a single cents as it is toleration. The more we give, the more beggar would seek to stay as beggar because money is easy to comes than sweating it out by working. Thus, it is better to gives alms only to those disabled or with debilitated situation.

Wow, thanks for your suggestion. I always gave to those who are elder and the disable as I look down upon for those guys who have strong working ability but to avoid working. But I met one couple carrying a baby who ask money for the kids. I feel so sad for the kids, thus I gave them 10 yuan. Once I told my friends about this, they just think that I am too kindhearted to play like that. Why the couple can not work for the kids if they are healthy people? That makes sense. I will be careful next time when I happened to the same situation. Thanks for your response and happy mylotting.

Wow, it is a big project for buidling up a charity. It needs time and money to make it come true. Seldom people can make it work with millions of money to carry out their sympathy to the society. Thanks for your response and happy mylotting.

It is very hard to recognize if we did not pay much attention to the beggars as the passenger. Most of the people are rushing to their work, and will not stay at one place for a long while. We even did not know whether we are cheated or not in such circumstance.

Whew.. that's great joy.. but beware sometimes those beggars are just pretending. They ask money from us but they just use it fro gambling and to sustain their vices. So we should be choosy on giving money to beggars.

i easily feel pity when i find a beggar. but it is not true with all the beggars in the street. i easily feel for the older and sick beggars. whenever i pass by them in the sidewalk, i can't resist but give them an amount. i choose whom to give because some beggars are too strong to find work for themselves. they are just lazy and prefer to go around begging. other children beggars are workers for a syndicate. someone "employs" them and he gets the bigger share of it. he feeds the children beggars whom he sends to the street to beg. also, i am careful when giving money to beggars here. there is a city ordinance prohibiting mendicancy. the beggars are rounded up and put into a shelter but some of them manage to escape and go back to the streets.

Yes.. We really have to give something to beggars. Food or money is a big help for them to survive. Yes sometimes we need to think twice if we really have to give or not. If we can see that that beggar is still capable to work or not. I usually give money or food to old beggars and handicaps since they really need it. They can't work anymore that's why they are asking help from us. Our almighty God said that everything we give away will come back to us more than we think or ask.

HI earlzhan. Yes, you are maybe right but God also epmhasized those who shall be given help. But if we really want to help less fortunate people, the best idea I think would be that we give donations to institutions or foundations, in cash or in kind. In that way we can be assured that our help will go to the right people needing help.

I like your sentence that God said everything we give away will come back to us more than we think or ask. That will encourage the people who did not feel well after they know the negative side of the society. Thanks for your response and happy mylotting.

hello sasalove, sometimes but not all the time. and if i do, i will just give the beggar that really needs help like the old one and disabled. for other beggars are a lot fatter, younger and stronger than me. they are just lazy to work and that they prefer to beg which should not be the case. helping such kind of people is hopeless for they are just depending to other people's help. some of them though are going house to house. and in this regard i prefer to give food than money.

Thanks for your response. I met one kind of beggar before that they are not happy if I bought them a bottle of water or a load of bread. And I know the beggar required money for that. In such case, I will get back the food or water I would like to give and walk away as I know that they consider the begging as their career and they do not deserve it. Happy mylotting.

hey sasalove Basically I am very soft hearted persons and whenever I saw begger I tried my level best to help him. For me I help those who are actually needy and handicapped but people with stout body can not be considered as begger. It is also true that common people are being cheated by such tricky elements . pkc3000

I think the deed in itself is the one that counts and I think you have done such a good deed by doing that. As for my opinion, whenever I see a beggar, if I have some extra to donate, I would try my best to, even though he or she might look fake or original. I think it's between them and God, should they lie. But for my part, I think the act of doing a good deed counts, no matter whether the person lies or not.

Thanks for your idea here. I agree with you. Cheating always happened around us, somebody like you will just stick to their principles and do not care what others did to him as they believe God will judge for that. Just hope that the good guy can deserve what they did.

It depends. Yeah, here is also many cheat in our area... As for me, I definitely will not give money to those beggar who is young and who supposed should have the ability to earn by themself. Sometimes, I see some beggar are very young and dress nicely. I do not see any reason that they have to beg there... Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

Yeah.. your right Karen.. If you can see that a beggar dress nicely and still capable to work then we don't have to give them anything. They should find ways to earn money not just by asking from other people.

No. I don't give money to beggars. why? Because when you give one, the others will also go after you. One time when i was with my youngest child, a beggar approached us and he wanted to give a penny to the beggar but I said to him "No". But we just gave him some food instead. And I don't believe that giving them money is helping them. Bringing them to the authority can help them because they are the one who knows what to do with them and where to bring them.

I am so mean to give the money to the beggar once I see that several ones are scattering around. I am sure they will round me up if I gave one penny to one of them. That is the experience and I might think that it is the group criminal there. Thanks for your response and happy mylotting.

Yes i will.. Maybe some beggars were just pretender. there are much more beggars begging because they really need it. When i give money to fake beggars, i don't commit a sin at all. But if i don't give money to beggar who's really in need, because i'm afraid to be cheated, then i commit a very bad sin...

I will not care too much on whether I am cheated or not as I just gave one penny only. I don't have a habit to use my brain when I made the decision on the tiny things. That is only a habit. Just let it be if you decided to give anything that did not affect too much on your life. Thanks for your response and happy mylotting.
