Break off nicely. Even if she is annoying and irritating, it is ungentlemanly if you get rid of her by hating her. Just say that you don't think you are really in love with her and perhaps it is for the best if you part ways.

Given the clearly apparent emotional load this is doing to you, I believe that you are already behaving in ways that would eventually lead to a break-up. You might already be doing all the related activities that most here have already said: you don't call, you don't sms, you avoid going out with her, etc. Given this, I'd suggest talking that you just break off the relationship, and say what you have to say. This would probably a hard thing to do because it requires a certain degree of maturity, but man-up and do what you have to do. (that is, given that you haven't broke it off already; you posted this 3 months ago.)

As a woman, it's very sad to know that boys do feel annoyed by us. Of course I don't know the reason why you get irritated with your girlfriend but at least try to talk to her and explain to her the things that you don't like about her. If you can, give her another chance to change her attitudes which you don't like. If she really doesn't change then tell her in a very kind manner that you want to break up with her for some reasons. Maybe at first she'll get hurt and will still find a way to get you back but I think in the end she will get tired of that situation and realize that you weren't meant for each other.

Hate is a very strong word, and if you really feel hatred towards her you need to get out now!! That is not fair to either of you to be in a relationship where you are not feeling the same way for one another. What you should do if just tell her that you think you would be better off dating other people. Maybe you could be friends down the line but right now this relationahip is not working into your life like it should be. Whatever you do .... you should not ignore her. This for some women would make them try harder and harder to get back into your life and if you hide from her or ignore her without saying anything to her about it she may think that you are just afraid of a commitment and try to work it out with you...see what Im saying? So ignoring is not a good choice I dont think. I would just try and be as nice as possible and uh you may want to steer clear of the word "hate" when talking to her aswell. :) Good Luck and I hope you get it worked out for yourself!

I think you should not use the word 'get rid of'. After all, she is your girl friend now. If you are irritated by her behavior, you need to tell her about it in person. If she understands it and ready to change her behaviour it is well and good. If she is not ready to change herself and continues the same. Tell her that you are not interested for a forever relationship with her. Hope she will understand you.

The first question I have for you is that if she is irritating and annoying how come you became her boyfriend? Why did you put yourself in a situation when you do not like her even a bit? Don't you really love her or not? Then just better tell her the truth. I think it would be much unfair to her that you keep the relationship when you do not like her anymore. Be fair. Set her free so she would be gone from your site.
