What you want to use it for matters, even at $1000 you need to make tradeoffs. What is best depends on your needs, gaming, developing, portability, etc.

Do you have Costco stores in Sweden? I advise everyone to buy their laptops at Costco. They usually have the latest models for "general" use. You don't mention if you're into gaming, or into using fancy design programs, or media software that have more hardware requirements, so if you just need a good laptop that will last you a few years, try your local Costco warehouse store. The reason I suggest Costco is that, at least in Canada, they offer an addition year warranty for free. The other electronics stores over here all try to sell you a warranty, and they are very very pushy about it. If you have any problems with your laptop within the first two years, you can just bring it back to any Costco store, along with the receipt, and they will fix the laptop for you. My boyfriend bought a really good laptop from there a year ago for $800. He looked for the same model elsewhere and it was a lot more expensive at other places. Good Luck!
