I recently heard that a many was driving drunk when he plowed into a vehicle carrying several people. 3 of the women in the other vehicle were killed and the drunk driver survived. These were innocent people who were killed because a careless, hateful, evil many got behind the wheel and drove. I think he should be executed for what he did. It is the same as murder because he knew he could kill someone if he got behind the wheel and he did kill. He should suffer the same fate that he caused those women. I still can't understand why people are still driving and driving! Don't they care about hurting and killing other people? Why do they think it is their right to do this and to take others lives away. I jsut don't get it. Drunk driving should be treated the same as attempted murder and if someone is killed, it should be murder!

you will be surprised that in our country some famous actor also drive their car when they are already drunk..and some actors also killed some people sleeping in the streetside(footpath) at night....if they will do so then general people will get what lesson from them??some arrogant people thinks that it is some kind of style to drive their car when they are drunk..they dont listen to anybody...and as a result these kind of crucial accident happen frequently and in some accident the drink driver also loose their life...

It is sad that some people get the thrill of doing those irresponsible things in life. Even if they are actors and actresses, they have more responsibilities towards their audience. They should behave more in the eyes of the public because the public tend to follow them.

I agree 100 percent, angemac. Apparently, some people believe that they can handle driving drunk and obviously they are not thinking about others. It's pretty sad. What's also an annoying stat is that it always seems that the drunk driver survives. I wonder if that's because their bodies are relaxed. I don't know. It's sad, indeed.

I guess most of us have negative opinion toward drunk drivers. They are irresponsible individuals, and they disregard the importance of life. We should not be allowed to drive if you are drunk or incapable of reasonably maneuver a vehicle.

You are right about that. Some people really don't care. Even if they knew that their being irresponsible would hurt other people, they still do it. They don't really care. Those responsible should not be left unpunished. They should suffer the consequences of their actions.

I am drunkard. When ever i drink i am the only person who rides my bike. I never trust anyone after i am drunk so i never let any of my friends to drive after i am drunk. To be told i am little bit selfish about my life and i dont want to end it in a painful manner. And if ever i am totally sloshed where i am not in a stage even to stand i just park my bike in the pub and i take a taxi so that i dont cause any problems for myself as well as others. And people who cause all these types are causalities should be shot on the spot instead of showing them mercy and putting them in jail.

You know, buzzed driving IS drunk driving. I know it may not be QUITE as bad, but it kinda is. If you wanna go out drinking so badly, why not get a friend that's designated to drive who won't be drinking and they can drive you to the bar/pub and home again? I have to give you credit for calling for a taxi when you're hammered, though.

Drinking and driving don't mix, it's a cliche but it's very true. Everyday we read news about accidents caused by drunk drivers. Limbs and lives have been lost and still people don't ever learn. Even the law that prohibits this seem useless as people continue to disregard it. It's high time the authorities implement the law with conviction.

I agree with you. Drunk drivers should be treated as attempted murderers. I don't know why it's always the drunk driver that survives! I know that a lot of drunk drivers still get behind the wheel because they feel they're "OK" to drive....go figure.

Yes, I have to say that I completely agree with you. It makes me sick to find out that innocent people are killed because of idiots that have one too many drinks and then go out driving. It SHOULD be classified as attempted murder because the drink drivers need to take some responsibility, ESPECIALLY if an innocent person is killed. The drink drivers need to realise that what they're doing is a crime.
