Do you like thunder storms? Are you afraid of bad weather? What you feel in a strong storm time? Life's storms are not different from the physical storms. There is no need to be afraid. There is always a rainbow after the storm. Do you feel a storm energy?pure energy? What do you think about storms? weather storms and why not life s storms?

I hate thunderstorms. There's nothing more scary for me than to know that there's random bolts of electricity shooting out of the sky that have to earth onto something. Chances are small, but still there, that during a storm, one lightning stroke could choose MY house. I have been in a house next door to one that was struck by lightning, and it wasn't a pleasant experience. I dread every summer, as thunderstorms are much more likely to happen then.

I like thunderstorms as long as they don't last more than two hours and they don't knock out the power. I remember two months ago when there was a super-cell around my county and we lost power for 3 days. A lot of our food spoiled, and there was nothing to do for those three days straight. Eh, I don't know. The pitter-patter on the roof is a nice sound, comforting even, but I don't care for the bigger, devastating storms.

Hi there dear Ice Smile. I don't particularly like bad weather, and i definitely prefer avoiding thunder storms. My girlfriend is quite scared of bad storms, but we both appreciate the rainbows afterward.

I do not like thunder storms as they scare my children as well as all my animals.I find that alot of the time when there is a storm all the electric go out so then there is nothing much to do.

After the two typhoons that had vastly damaged my country, (and there's another one coming) I don't think I will ever feel good about them. They've taken properties and lives, and have left the country devastated. Be it physical or otherwise, storms are a test of one's personality, how he deals with it defines and makes him different from the the rest.

I used to like thunderstorms…I loved standing by the window and watching the dark ominous clouds come in one by one in all their pomp and splendour…the tension in the surrounding atmosphere…the birds flying home as fast as their wings can carry them and then the first big drops…it’s a wonderful feeling alright. But very recently we’ve have a devastating thunderstorm in our area and the aftermath was too much for me…though there was no loss of life but we had to bear without water and electricity for two days…we were practically running out of food and water as all the shops and markets were closed…lots of trees uprooted and blocking roads, extensive damage to property everywhere…all in all, I did not enjoy it. So from now on I think I like the lighter version….you know, just the medium grey clouds and some rain…OK…some wind too!

It is theoretically possible that in the near future, scientists will develop a technology that will harness the power of storms. I believe that they are working on it now. There is no limit to man's ingenuity and creativity. Who knows this might be a solution to the problem of energy shortage. cheers!

When I and my siblings were young, our Daddy would take us to the picture window when there was a storm and would tell us what was going on. He made storms exciting and that's how I have always felt about them. I have never been afraid of storms and I have my Daddy to thank for that.

I like to watch a thunderstorm come rolling in once the lightning the rain and the wind and I watch it move on. What I do not like is the days of rain on end and the general overcast skies make things gloomy. I'm not sure what there is to be afraid of if you are safely inside your house the chances of being struck by lightning are infinitesimal. The only time I would be concerned is if I was out in the open and unable to seek proper shelter.

The only time i have been afraid of storms was when they could possibly become tornados or hurricanes. Even then, a part of me would want to look up into the sky and see it. For the most part I think storms are fascinating parts of nature. There is such an adrenalin rush from a clap of thunder or flash of lightning. My grandmother was very much afraid of storms. She would get hysterical if you stood near an open doorway or window while it was storming. I had never really noticed before if there was a rainbow after every storm. Speaking of weather storms and life storms, the weather ones are easier to deal with. Life's storms are more complicated because they often deal with things that can not be seen.

hello icesmile,i am very afraid of thunder and lighting, it happens in our city frequently in the summer.when the storms come,i hide myself in a small room with the windows closed, cover my eyes with a cloth and cover my ears with my hands.my heart beat so thick that i feel can't breath. And unfortunately, there is no rainbow in our city after storms, but just hot weather and dazzling sunshine.

Yes there is always a rainbow after every storm. But the question is are you ready to face the storm? No one is ready to face it. Yes but one truth is there it will come and we have no choice but to face it. So why face it with disheart. Why not accept it a part of life. Storms comes as a end to our good time and to start the bad time. If they do not come there will always be good time and there will no importance of good time. So lets taste bad time also. Good Luck!

I am not afraid of storms. I enjoy listening to the thunder, and I live in a very safe basement apartment.
