Sometimes we can read some headlines that a father or mother killed his own son/daughter. what makes them do that? Maybe because of too much used of drugs, out of their mind or because of poverty. They cannot feed them all because of poorness. In California there was a 26 year old mother who shoot his sons and killed the eldest one (5 yrs. old), the youngest one who is 1 year old is currently in a hospital with life support. You wouldn't believed it but it was the mother who called 911, that she shoot her sons. So far police did not release any motive about it, the mother has been charged a murder case

Something like that, I have often heard from the news in various media. I come from Indonesia, which still including from developing countries. Community countries with different social problems, such as unemployment, poverty and other issues related to economic issues. However, such as event, does not always happen, because they economic problems, and only occurs in poor countries or developed countries, but also in large countries with rapid economic growth, with a variety issues related to lifestyle.

This is terrible news! HOw could anyone murder their child? See, I've yet to have children but Iknow how that I will be super protective of them. Knowing that now, how could anyone purposely and deliberately murder their child? That has to be the worst of sins.

it is not easy raising children becase they are so needy and its so stressful taking care of them, it can really be frustrating putting aside what you have to do to be with them and meet thier needs but having to kill a child goes to she the state of mind of some adults. One thing they dont realize is killing the child does not take away the memories of what you have been through and you will pay for the consequences of your actions. i yell at my children all day but i have never thought of killing them. I only know that one day the will grow up and be of good behaviour and would not need me around always

Sometimes fear over something overrides love.
A devout muslim woman with good but low paid husband killed three of her children because she FEARED that they as a parent would make them live in poor condition, so better end their lives now than giving them povery.
A maid, still a teenager, killed her baby right after giving birth because she FEARED her mistress would put her out.
So yeah, sometimes fear overrides all kind of logis.

Because some people believe in the saying "I brought you into this world an I'll take ya out"
Ok in all seriousness muslims do this a good bit when they don't approve of their child's actions.
There is a few documented cases here in the US of them killing their daughter because she was gonna marry someone who they didn't approve of, or killing their child because they are becoming too westernized.
Those are the only examples I can think of, that don't even involve mental problems.

It's really sad that these sorts of events occur. But unfortunately, they do happen. There are various reasons why they might do it, but personally I have a difficult time accepting them, as it is the parents' responsibilities to protect and care for their children. I don't think that poverty or any other reason can really justify killing or hurting your 5 yr old and 1 yr old sons. I don't know if I'm the only who feels this way, but I just don't believe that this mother's actions (or any other parent who has committed this sort of act) can be justified.

Long ago some forty years back when asa college student I heard of a mother murdering her elder son assisited by her paramour. She was assisted in her heinous crime by her illicit relationship partner. Her elder son had tghreatened to inform father about her relationship with this man in the absence of his father. That son might have been hardly 10 years old! His younger brother was just 4 years old and six years when he testified in court in graphic detail about the gruesome murder. At that time it did shock me how the great statement by Shankaracharya when he said there could be a bad son but there cannot be a bad mother! Even this statement had been falsified !!!

I think most of those people suffer from depression and the people around them don't notice it untill it's too late. I've had depression and trust me, it's even worse than what you can think of because you end up seeing everything painted in black, you believe there's no way to change what makes you suffer, nothing makes you laugh anymore and you'd rather spend the entire day lying in bed and staring at the ceiling. I couldn't even bear any noises, it's make me wanna pull my hair so guess If this woman was like me and coulnd't stand her kids making noise ... depression is possibly the worst thing you could ever experience in life and you need a lot of love and support to get over it.
