Hello my friends on mylot. I felt the need to share with you what kind of Tuesday that I had. For those of you that have been following me, I finally found a place to rent. I had some business stuff to take care of before we actually started to work on the place and get moved.
My day started at 9:00AM on Tuesday. I had a doctors appointment in a nearby town. I am suspose to be seeing him once a month. Well with everything going on I haven't been there for two months. So lets just say that he wasn't too happy with me. I got my butt jumped by the doctor..LOL
I then had to go to the car lot where my husband had bought his truck at several months back. He had sold the truck to his company that he works for so I needed to pay it off and get a lien release. I had called the guy earlier this week and told him I would be in. He gave me a payoff amount, which I wasnt too happy with. So, when I got there he wasn't there. This lot has a co-owner at another lot. I went there to get the paper work. WELL, the payoff was different. It was like $600 dollars different toward my good. The guy was going to try and keep that much money out of us. I wasn't a happy camper at this point for sure.
I went on to the courthouse to record the lien release. The courthouse sits upon a hill. As I was leaving I was sitting at the bottom of hill waiting for the traffic to clear so that I could pull out onto the street. All of a sudden a lady came driving down the hill and didn't stop. She hit me in the back of my truck. It put a big dent in my bumper and cracked my license plate.
I get home and was walking across the drive toward the camper. My mother-in-law was at the mailbox so I stopped to talk with her. While I was standing there talking with her a yellow jacket bee decided to sting me in my arm. Then another bee wouldn't leave me alone and chased me all the way to the camper door...LOL..
Can you believe what a day that I have had. I told my husband that I wasn't going back out the door for nothing. I did have to go meet him at the clerk's office to transfer the tags to the new owner, but Im proud to say that everything went well. Hopefully things will go good today for me.
Have you ever had a non stop bad day?

You had 4 things happen in one day...wow what a day! You had all three plus one all in one. They say that bad things happen in threes. Well you have had yours.
Usually when they tell you the pay off it is good for that day. It will be more if you wait to pay it.
I hope the lady had insurance so your truck could be fixed.
The doctors can be a pain sometimes. I just tell them that I could not come in...I either had no money to pay them or I felt too bad to go! It's that simple.
You had so many bad things that you should not have any more for awhile. Let's hope not anyway.

Hi moon
I hope that is it for awhile. The lady that hit was a well known lady in town. You know one that has money. She had me to drive up to this repair shop and I take the truck in next Monday to have it repaired on her bill. As far the carlot I think that the one guy was trying to pocket a few hundred dollars in his pocket. Well I stopped that by going to the main lot.
Thanks for thoughts and have a great day my friend. Keep smiling.

Wow, I have had some bad days before, but that one takes the cake.
I wonder about that guy at the car lot. Sometimes I think people believe they are just too busy to be bothered with, so they will make up just anything. I wonder if instead of planning to keep the money, if he just made that number up off the top of his head. Some people can really be useless in this world it seems. LOL
I can't believe that lady slammed into the back of you. What was she doing? I worry that people are too busy text messaging or something and that is what happens. My niece was about the 9th car back, sitting at a red light, and a guy slammed into the back of her a couple of weeks ago. Thank goodness for airbags.
Oh no, and I hope you aren't allergic to bees. This would have been a real catastrophe in my family, because most of us are allergic to bees. I haven't been stung in about 20 years, so I'm not sure if I'm still allergic or not.
Hope today was a better day for you, and your weekend is even brighter!!!

Hi kykidd
Oh I think the guy at the carlot was really trying to get some extra money in his pocket. The figure that he gave was the total that I would have paid if I had paid all the payments. I showed him by going to the main lot and paying it off there, which saved me about $600 dollars.
The lady was an older lady, and I believe that she was looking off when she hit me. She is paying to have my truck fixed. Thank goodness.
The bee sting, I guess I didn't have a reaction to it. The next day it was just itching really bad.
Thanks for you sharing with me and have a great day. Keep smiling.

Wow that does sound like a very interesting day, but you seem calm for having such a hectic, and bad day. I can't remember the last time I had a really bad day, but I guess it was when I was getting the new name straightened out and had gone with my hubby all the way to town to find out that I couldn't change my name with the DMV yet! I got that all settled though, and now I now officially The Mrs.

[b]Hello my friend
Sounds to me like the devil is trying to steal your thunder, don't let him keep smiling and tell him to suck wind you know when things are going so well something happens to try to bring you down, as for the guy and your truck that was a good thing right, you saved money good thing he was not their how sad, people can be so grimy, but think of it this way, with all that someone is still looking out for you which is a wonderful thing.
Keep smiling my wonderful friend, welcome these little happenings only means things are looking up so bring it on.

There have been many times in my life actually where I have had days where it seems like when it Rains it pours. The last one was the day we were supposed to sign papers to close on the house we just bought. Well it ended up that day that the people we were getting our Loan from forgot to somehow get a signature from us on some paperwork, and so we were not going to be able to close yet.
Talk about furious and we called and questioned things like about 4 times it seemed to get some much needed answers. I was getting really stressed as this was the day our Condo officially had Sold so we would be homeless in 3 days if we did not sign the papers. Well, we were able to sign some papers within 2 days and were given keys to our home before it was officially closed, and the Real Estate people had to pay Rent to the owner, but talk about STRESSED out to the max.
Personally I think overall with all you have been thru, hopefully things will be better for you for sure from now on as well.

It sounds like trouble came to you in more than "threes" that day, but now you should have a long string of happy, easy-going days. You are entitled! I am so glad you found a wonderful new place to live. That will take some of the still out of that bee, eh?

hi rosepedal164 I just recently had almost 11 months like that.first last sept 28th my son got laid off,our money was
used up so got behind in the rent. A network lady friend of my'
son said oh I will help you two,I will put you up in an apartment in Antioch Ca for three months so you Robbie can find
work.well the day before we were to move in the manager to the apartment emails my son, the lady asked him to tear up the agreement, she did not want to do it. so there we were homeless.so we spend a month with some other friends til the house they were living sold so we again had to move, so our friend for many years put us up in his apartment.,letting us sleep on his couches until his landlord gave him static. so we ended up for a week in the salvation army hospitality house. by then my son was worried sick for my sake, I am retired, was 83 almost then, so he talked to adult protective service and got me placed here At Gold crest where I am now for almost a year now, and he is in gov. sponsored apt. with three other men all looking for work and being helped by having the rent paid. he is existing for now on unemployment insurance, here my social security and ssichecks pay for my rent and board. its not jus twhat we might want but what we had to do. so it was a bad 11 months. now i have my computer and monitor so I can mylot and that makes my day. The job situation here in Ca. is hopeless right now.

Hi Hatley
WOW, It is hard to believe that you are your age and working like this with the computer. I think that is wonderful. I envey you so much. I wish you the best of luck with your son be able to find a job. He might have to relocate to another state to get a job. I have heard that the jobless rate is horrible out there in California. I will keep my fingers crossed for you and hope that something good will come out of this for you. Have a great day and keep smiling.
