What do you think of electric bicycles?

I have an electric bicycle,I'm a teacher in a training school and I use it when I have lessons on weekends. it always takes me half an hour to go there by electric bike. I drive it fast on the way and sometimes I just don't have enough time to see what are around ,so sometimes I was nearly having accidents.
I can clearly remember the man driving electric bike between two cars and unlucky to be pushed onto the center part of the road ---died within just two seconds!the whole thing is: People in the car on right side opened the door on the left side without looking around and, it was the lead of the whole accident--the man drived the bike fast from the back and was hit by the door and quickly pushed aside to the road centre...we know both of them take half responsibilities here--but,should the electric bicycle here be blamed?

I will only ride a bicyle on biking lanes, electric or not. Although, I would prefer an electric one probably because I am too lazy to pedal. I remembered while living in Vietnam, I was amazed at the traffic - bikers, cars, trucks and all sorts of vehicles on the same lane. I was constantly holding my breath whenever we are on the road and always nudging the driver to be careful in case he hits a biker.

Do no t panic,in fact life is fragile.WE must be properly value their lives.Electric cars are very
popular in our home ,almost every household has.They also out of life ,traffic accidents.Note that as long as the usually more,to comply with traffic regulations .On the hook.I wish you luck.

It's good that you own one, but I advice you to take care always because riding any two wheels on public roads is really dangerous since your whole body is exposed one big accident could immediately take your life just like the one your story. I myself ride a motorcycle and really find it dangerous. One wrong judgement could lead to an accident. What happened in your story is that the passenger in the vehicle carelessly opened the door that cause the bicycle to hit it, on the other side the bicycle must be running so fast that he was left with very little time to react. Just make sure you always wear your helmet everytime you ride your electric bike.
