The word cheating isn't really what I would call it more like Unfaithful. I honestly believe that too many people conform to the word "love" without really knowing what it is and end up trying to start a family without realizing what that means. Most men who cheat do so for 1 of 2 reasons. The first reason is obviously because they are not getting what they need anymore and the second reason is because they no longer want what they originally thought was "love". I can't speak for women in this discussion but I'm confident it's for similar reasons.

Praise God, Ive been saying that for years. I think the have no spine and dont want to stand up and say I want out. And some just want the cake and eat it too - you know maybe the have a responsible financial professional spouse and want a play mate who is fun exciting unresposible to play with!

stephanie3162003,
No offense but is there really any point in analyzing the reason(s)?
Other than the part where some people would like to continue to go about cheating to gain benefits or personal gratification - there is really nothing we can say much here. Can we?
Yet, there are other circumstances where it is just mutual. What did they say about taking 2 hands to clap? You see sometimes people just choose and allow themselves to be cheated. I am sure you can recall instances when we warn our friends or likewise about the cheating ways of one's partner, only to go unheeded at the end of the day.
So, I feel that we should always be mindful on how we choose our friends and that we should always be prepared to accept harsh facts and reality when the situation calls for it.
I hope the article here will shed more light to what I am trying to convey here.
Have a nice day.

I don't know. I think a lot of it may be not knowing if you're unhappy or not, just knowing something isn't right. So I think some of it is more of a self discovery maybe. I've never cheated and can honestly say I wouldn't but that's my best guess.
