did ever love any school food?

We didn't get tomato soup with our grilled cheese sandwich at school. I can't remember exactly what they did serve, but I'm pretty sure that it was the main course, and we just had something simple like chips on the side with it. Of course, I do love to eat a grilled cheese sandwich with my tomato soup. I didn't learn about this until I was in my twenties. But now, it seems amiss to have tomato soup without the grilled cheese sandwich. And if I can have some peppercinis with it, it will just make my day! My favorite school food is a peanut butter sandwich and chili. Maybe our school served that combination instead of the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Very seldom do I eat chili with my peanut butter sandwiches now a days, but I wouldn't mind having the kind that the school made. As a matter of fact, I just finished a peanut butter sandwich (with honey like our school made it) and as cold as it is out today, a bowl of chili would have went perfect!
