I love to eat salads. My favorite salad dressing is Ranch. My next favorite dressing is Ceasar. How about you? Which dressing do you prefer on your salad? Does it have to be a certain brand?

LOL. What do you use your ranch dressing for? I did go to elementary school with this crazy girl that put Ranch dressing on top of her pizza every day.

I use it on fries and almost anything. I would dip half a cow in it if I could. I have never tried it with pizza but I will try it

My favorite is ginger dressing. I absolutely love it. Especially at Japanese restaurants. If I am home I usually have cucumber ranch dressing.

I've seen cucumber ranch in the stores and always wondered what it tasted like. Does it have a strong cucumber taste?

Hi, cjfoust. My favorite salad dressing is lite Ranch, Ceasar and Vidalia Onion. I also like Thousand Island and Zesty Italian as well. I only like to eat blue cheese on my hot chicken wings from Pizza Hut or Dominoes.

I don't really do any dressing but decorate my salad with fresh coriander leaves, onion pieces which is cut into round shapes, tomato cut into round, and bell pepper thinly cut into round pieces added with a dash of lime and honey and sprinkled with black pepper corn powder

I have 2. Bleu cheese usually hits the spot. But there is a restaurant I love. Their house dressing is my absolute FAVORITE. It is a creamy garlic concoction that I love. My hubby took me there recently. We hadn't been in years. What a treat!

My favorite is Hidden Valley Ranch made from the packets. Mix the season packets with 1 cup of mayo and 1 cup of milk. I love the way it tastes. My next favorite is Kraft Catalina dressing. I am also a fan of the Kraft Italian dressings. This discussion makes me want a salad!

My families favorite dressing would most definitely be Ranch...we use ranch for anything and everything from our salads to our pizzas and our pork chops. I bet I buy at least a bottle of ranch a week if not more. the only other thing that goes that fast would be our milk. we probably have ranch and milk at every dinner sitting. The only other dressing that is used would be French and that is because there is on rare occasion that I crave a salad with french dressing instead of ranch. There isn't any certain brand because we have used a few different ones but it has to be buttermilk ranch and we don't like hidden valley although it is probably the most famous we just think it is too tart.

Ranch is one of my favorites, but, generally, only made with the Hidden Valley packet. It is the one dressing I do not make totally from scratch. So many people like Ranch because it can be a dressing or a dip. It is great on baked potatoes, and could sauce many other things as well, other than salads. For everything else, I make my own dressings from scratch, because it's easy and less chemical. The kind of dressings I use depends of what's in the salad. I make a creamy blue cheese and also a blue cheese vinaigrette. Thousand island also has many variations. Honey mustard is easy, as is tomato vinaigrette and the many other vinaigrette variations. On very rare occasion (like when it's on sale), I buy one brand of champagne vinaigrette, but I forget the name of it since I buy it so rarely. The bottle is triangular in shape.

When i was younger, French dressing was my favorite. my mother had a recipe for french dressing that i loved. Alas, she lost the recipe over the years and doesn't exactly remember how it was made. I never really cared that much for italian and even less for Bleu Cheese. My favorite salad dressing now is Thousand Island. Who knows, maybe I'll even go back to French someday.

not all salad are created equally, nutritionally speaking. there are basically two nutrition issues with salads; they are packed with high nutrition, low calorie and loaded with fatty, higher calorie...for me i prefer ceasar light dressing for my cesar salad or garden salad...
