hi amit myself arman. if you want to buy a new pc i suggest you for a assembled pc against a branded pc because in branded your machine have fixed parts and in machine you put that part which you want. and in branded not all part form the one brand. for lg not makes ram and hard disk, also they don't makes the motherboard. so why we don't choose a assembled pc. in a assemble system pc you suggest for parts what you. in assemble pc you get more guaranty and warranty agaist a branded pc. your pc problems are solve easily in assembled pc. so think about it and have a nice day.

hi amit gupta, These days all brands are good and you can buy any which one you like because none of them make anything and they only assemble things ..so why go for costly option and buy branded. We got our personal computer assembled by a local vendor and it is giving us as good performance as lenovo and if we got any problem then all we need to do is pphone the vendor and he or his men wouldbe there in less than 12 hours. it costed nearly 60% that of what Dell would have costed us and we get all the softwares free from vendor too.

No matter how good the brand is, if they don't have a good after-sales warranty service for technical problems, then it is pretty useless.. not only that, it must have available spare parts, otherwise, it will take months or years to have it even though you pay a lot of money... so i suggest you to think twice before making any final decisions... in my experience, i suggest you to get Acer or HP since their after-service is pretty good... as well as the prices are very affordable....it is pretty durability, prolong use..but before u buy one, try to read other reviews..because there are some products are best selling and some are not..so better try to canvass.. =) goodluck!

ok my friend i suggest You to Use the assembled pc because they are more compatible as compared to the company if you but the company pc so you can not remove the seal and not take the advice nearest computer engineer and various problem that company workers take time to repair and not do the work right and you face the same problem various time my friend name is prince and he buy a core to due from Hcl center from Nehru palace but it computer have various problem he have to take it to Nehru palace which is more far to his house and they can not take any advice from any computer engineer because computer is sealed and that's why i suggest you to buy a assembled PC

ya i agree with lovedude response that moving to the assembled pc is preferable . But i dont find any great difference between the quality of HP and DELL... People find the difference in brands like hp, hcl, intel, etc... because each brand has its concentration in its unique area . The focus of product development is on single area thus they find the difference in product, so quality wise i dont find any great difference. The difference is in user hand only.Thats their requirement..

I don't know if there is a best make as it were! I use Dell and I'm pretty pleased with what I have experienced so far. I like the fact that there's good technical support at Dell but I suppose you could say this with every computer manufacturer, at least while the computer is in warranty. I would recommend you go for a dell pc. You have to decide what you are going to use the computer for though. Will you be playing online games that require superior graphics? Or do you just need to pc to write emails, surf the net, write letters and just do things generally? I think in terms of performance you should focus on the following things. You should purchase a pc that has a dual core processor (two cpus or microprocessors within the same housing unit), at least 4 GB or Ram or 2 GB or ram and then you can upgrade to 4 later. You should pay as much as you can afford but don't go over the top buying a pc that's way too powerful for what you actually need. Good luck. Andrew

I personally like Dell and try to stick with them. I know I'm going to get a lot of heat from this next comment but I don't like or trust Hewlitt Packard (HP) or Packard Bell which are both basically the same brand. My first computer was an Acer and it never failed me, I just outgrew it. Acer is a good brand as well as Gateway. I am talking about desktops mainly but if you want a laptop there are a few good brands like Toshiba and such which are good for the money but I like to stick with Dell all the way. Just look on e-bay and see that Dell is the most popular. If I had to go with a second choice I would build my own computer up from a barebones kit but if you want a brand name for choice number two it would have to be Gateway.

HP is a printer company. They make the best printers. I would not buy a computer from them. I'd buy a printer from them. That is what they are best at. Acre is a cheap computer company. They make computers, but they make them as cheap as possible. If cheap is what you want, Acre is a fine company. Dell is a big computer company. They have made computers for years and years. They tend to be a little more cost, but they are good quality, and have good tech support if you need help sometimes. Lenova is small here in the US. They are not sold much here. HCL is new to me. Never heard of them. Dell is best quality in the ones you mention. Acre is cheapest I know of. HP is for printers. Good hunting.

hi amitrgupta branded pc are always the best but instead buying the entire pc in single brand . Make it as a assembled one with branded configuration, will help you to satisfy your requirement and quality of your pc.

its not very easy to select a brand name for a pc because all copmanies provide same things in around same prices but the difference is the quality and i am in the favour of HCL

Each brand has advantages and disadvantages. I suggest you build your own PC, according to your needs.

The best brand is for pruchasing a computer, is the one which offers a wide range of after-sale services like a fantastic customer service in your area, rapid response and customer care. Be sure whether they are selling potatoes or computers. There's a huge difference if you know what I mean. Most of the brands outsource their product to some certain manufacturers. The one who can obtain a better outlook in the customer's eyes has a one step advantage. And also the quality is also embedded to the price. Just ask your friends who are using your candidate brands already. Ask them whether they had any problems and if so how did they manage it? Price is number one factor but do not buy depending on only price.

to be honest with you all computer parts are the same, it's the branding that makes them cost more. if you are buying a desktop, i suggest you assemble it on your own, it will save you as much as 30%-40% or even more. it you are looking for Laptop, go with for the highest spec not the brand.

I think if you plan to use your computer for gaming or graphic design or sound editing, you better assembled your PC, choose the best hardware part for your need. Branded PC or assembled one has not much different hardware component, if you prefer Intel product than branded PC also use Intel core for processor, as you can choose also for assemble your new PC with a lower price. For branded PC, yeah more expensive but they provide after sales services, and if you still choose branded one, than I suggest you choose DELL or HP product.
