I am not good at selecting gifts. I have been thinking about gifts for my family for Christmas. This is my first Christmas after marriage. So, I need to get gifts for my family and my husband's family. You can get a shirt for you sister. If she is interested in fish, you can get a fish bown with some fish for her, which she will keep with her for a long time. You can also bake some cookies for her.

Hi crazydaisy, I think there is nothing like a framed photo from a memorable day the two of you shared. That would be my suggestion.

If your daughter is high tech, a good idea would be an electronic photo frame that shows progressive pictures. Mike.

Well my daughter is 37 and last year was the first timne I decided to do something different. I bought a designer bag from Ebay and I filled it with different items I thought she would use. I can't remember everything right now but there were items like, makeup brushes, wallet, paring knives and different odds and ends. she loved it. This year I have no idea what I'll give her.

I don't know... a collection of photographs of the two of you from her childhood, in a nice little album or one of those frames with all the little windows?

A year long subscription to her favourite magazine would make a nice gift for a 32 year old woman. She would think of you every time a new issue arrived in her mailbox.
Coupons to a favourite restaurant are also nice gifts to give. Depending on her finacial situation (and yours) prepaying 3 months on her internet or cable bill could also be a unique gift.
I like giving coupons to hair salons, manicures and massages as well. Most women like to be pampered once in a while.

My daughter is thirty. I do not know what to give her either. She likes simple things from the heart, like my recipes, and some of my stories. I guess I could make her a book. In addition, I try always to do "socks for the stockings" even if I am not with her family. I feel like I have given her many memories, growing up. I would maybe give her a special figurine, if I felt it would be important to her.

I have two daughters...I don't know what your daughter likes or wants but both of my daughters have everything they want or need......so I wrote them a poem....framed it and gave them each a copy......of course the name of it is My Daughter!

A locket with a design she likes and a picture of you inside. Like if she likes hearts or oval or oval with flowers, etc.

Also consider what is most important to her. My brother kept a recording of my Mother's voice and played it until the cassette broke. For him, her voice was most important.

My mom bought me a necklace that said #1 Daughter because I am her only daughter but it meant the whole world to me!! I'll always treasure it for the rest of my days. This other idea is a good one but it could fall and get broken but maybe a picture of the two of you in an etched crystal box shaped or what ever glass. I bet she'd really enjoy that as well!

Hey daisy! There are so many things that you could buy your
daughter! First off, you probably know what her taste is and
what types of things she likes. Does she like jewelry? I'm
sure if she is like most women she must! You could buy her some
sort of charm or keepsake that would have some special meaning!
Only you would really know her likes and dislikes so being her
Mom for 32 years think about the things that she really enjoys
and go from there! Maybe a special little jewelry box or keepsake
box that has something special on it that she likes? Just think
about the things that she loves the most and I'm sure you will
come up with something special!
