Have you ever spent too much time on one site?

I do many earning sites on line therefore it is important that I not stay on one site too long, but sometimes I do. I spent 2 hours on just one site this morning, I made about a dollar for my time so it was silly of me to spend so much time there, but I just kind of got carried away. Have you ever done this?

Oh yes . . . if I'm obssessed with something, I stay there for a lonnnnnnnnng time. I've done this particularly with this site (myLot), Facebook, and Yahoo Answers. I don't even want to tell you how long I've stayed up at night being online. I haven't done the late night thing with myLot because I'm pregnant and need my sleep . . . but the others, oh yes, I was on them for hours. Eventually the novelty wears off . . . and then I move on to another obsession!

I do it all the time. I'm slowly narrowing down my sites to ones that I really like and ones that pay decent. I don't care how much they pay if I really like the site.

I guess it depends on how disciplined you are and how organized you are and how much you expect to earn.. I like to think I spend time on the internet as much for entertainment and education as earnings, as earnings is difficult at times.
Frequently I do spend time too much on one site as the time seems to pass so fast when you are engrossed in an interesting area.

Hi, Lady M!
That's what likely to happen if you have lots of earning sites to concentrate on.
I was like that before, having too many earning sites and sometimes I did find that it was wasting my time because I have to divide my time wisely on each of the sites.
If I do paid posts in my blog, that won't be too much time consuming, but on other sites with different concepts, the earnings are very slow. Therefore, I think that it is much better to focus on one site first to achieve the target and then only spend some time on another.
Right now, I am giving my full concentration on myLot and I am confident that I can make more $$$ from here!

I supposed I do spend a lot of time on some sites. When it comes to trying to earn money, I used to spend a huge amoung of time on PPC websites - and when I reached payout, I was often told that there was no money to pay me :(
However, I know that myLot DOES pay - so I dont mind spending time here :)
Good topic!

i'm kinda addicted on some web site, as like as facebook, mylot, twiter. so i used to access all of this site so many time in a day. can you imagine that i have experience to browse 10 hour long something this site separately. suppose mylot. earn from online, for me its a not much important then gathering with different culture, different country people and getting some learn and knowledge. i think knowledge is better achievement for my next day, what i can apply to my personal life and business.

hi ladym^^;;
i am actually spending several hours in mylot.
not really actively participating but reading the posts.
it makes me occupied and get rid of my boredom. i learn a lot here since i can read real life experiences of other lotters. i haven't earned yet a dollar but i was close to that once and only once haha. i think there's more here than just earning and that's what's happening to me..

I have definitely spent too much time on mylot! But then if you want to reach payout you have to put the work in. I am here to enjoy the discussions, too, but I did first sign up because this is the first paying site I found that wasn't a chore to work on, and I could use the pocket money right now.
My work has paid off I think because I have heard many people talking about taking forever to reach payout and I have after about a month and a half.
Having said that, I am home during the day at the moment and so may have more time than some people.

Yes, sometimes I get carried away in pixprofit.com and type as much as I can hoping to get to the $3 payout in a few hours. It never happens.

Yes, lately in mylot, I'm just new hear but I spend almost all of my free time here lately, yes, there is a time that i didn't bother to visit my other favorite sites because i've been very busy backreading some discussion and responding at the same time.
