When going shopping, what are 3 items that you can't do without. Or in other words, what are the top 3 things that you would choose.
For me, it would have to be:
1) Shaver
2) Shower Foam/Soap
3) Cologne
So what about you? I mean, we do need other things, but these 3 basic things are what I would normally look for all the time. I finish up my cologne easily, need my shaver all the time and I use up the shower foam much faster than shampoo.

Hi Zed,
three things, you ask... well, It's not that I buy this three things everytime I go shopping, but I always look for them in shops because I can't find them easily. If I find some new shops that sell them, I take note of the place.
They are:
1.Oil/shampoo (with no phosphats) and Cleansing Gel (no nichel),
2.Cleansing milk (Biotherm biosensitive without parfum)
3.Toothpasta that I like most.
I have a sensitive skin and I am allergetic to Nichel, so I can't use most of the soaps and creams sold in shops. I have some brands I use and I alwais look for them. I also can't use the products I always find in hotels, so I have to bring my own things while travelling. That's why I look for these things everytime I go shopping.

I'll go without tootpasta then. Well, not that I will not use it, just that I'll have whichever I'll find. ;o)
In the other three cases, I have to be very careful with what I choose.
You are very strict ... couldn't someone lend me one of their items so that I can have the tootpasta I like?
:o)

Yep! It takes a lot to take a bath 7 times a week! Sometimes it can't be helped that one has to shower or take a bath again at night. This usually happens to me during summer, when I take a shower at least 2-3 times a day to cool down.

just 3 items? hmmnnn... that would have to be hair conditioner, facial wash and soaps.
my hair is quite long so i use up conditioners about 33-50% faster than shampoo. i like maintaining my hair's softness that's why, so it would remain manageable. and since i almost never put make up on (maybe 1-2 times a year? hehehe), i need facial wash. with at least 2 showers a day, my soap consumption is also a lot.

whenever i have my hair as long as i have now (almost down to my waist), i am kinda dependent on conditioners. it's great waking up in the morning as if i have just combed my hair. but when i'm sporting a short hair cut, i'm fine without conditioners.
at one point, i wanted to form the habit of putting on make-up as a personal grooming whenever i leave the house... just like most of the female friends i have. but didn't. for some it's habit-forming, for me it's time consuming. and it didn't sit well when i was doing field assignments before. i just make do with sunblock and baby powder... sometimes. hehe

Hiya zed_k4,
For me to be without a cream that contains Aloe Vera as it soothes my very sensitive skin it has to have a good percentage of Aloe Vera though.
Also a natural toothpaste well as natural as possible with a good ph level. Other normal toothpastes are too abrasive and ruin the enamel most times. A Carolina Herrera perfume because although it´s expensive it lasts much longer than others she really knows how to make them. I still have one of hers and it´s lasted me nearly two years. That´s it.

I'd like to thank you for listing such creative answers there.
I must say I am very intrigue in the Carolina Herrera perfume you've mentioned.. can only imagine how nice-smelling it must be..
Next off, you are right; I now remember that not all toothpaste comes in a good ph level.
As for the other things, they are all very cool.. thanks for your time, I'm having fun with all different answers from friends most definitely..

Hi zed,
If you are talking about shopping for food, my three main priorities are tomatoe, lettuce and onion. They are essential part of my diet. Next is Olive Oil Pure only and Red Onion as they are full of the good stuff too vitamins and minerals.
All these are on my everyday list for shopping.
Potatoes and Rice come next and also eggs.
Just thought I would add this other list to be on the safe side.

Hiya zed,
Yes the Carolina Herrera Perfume there are more types that she has lasts much longer and you only need to put a few dabs on. Even when you wash your Hands it still stays on. She also makes Perfume for men too and really nice.
Aloe Vera as for that you have to read the contents label as there is a lot of deception in those labels. Aloe Vera has to be in the Cream by over eighty percent for it to be effective. I found one that had ninetypercent and it only cost me five euros lol.

To me I would choose facial scrub, face cream and shower soap. I can never leave out the facial scrub because I am used to it since I was a teenager. I use it everyday even though people say facial scrub should be used twice or thrice weekly only. My skin is very oily and if I don't use facial scrub for a day it would become greasy pimples would appear.
Because I use scrub regularly, my skin becomes dry after it is washed so I have to use faical cream every time after I wash my face. So these two things are a necessity, not to mention shower soap is also a must everytime I take a bath. If I can give you four I will include hair shampoo because it is also very important to me. My scalp get oily very easily and I have to use shampoo everytime I take a bath. But because I can only give you three things, those are what I can give you.

That would be 1) snacks (including chocolate) 2) shampoo and 3) toothpaste.^_^
Im not really much of a shopper but I do accompany my Mom in buying groceries or things needed inside the house. The top 3 things that our purchases would always have is snacks. I love to snack and I do bring some to school to save on my allowance. Shampoo would be the first one to run out in the house cause my Mom and I are generous when using shampoo. Toothpaste would be the second one to run out cause my Mom, my Dad, and I do brush our teeth at least 3 times a day and are also quite generous in using toothpaste.^_^

Hi,
Ooh does it really have to 3 items? Ok, well then I'd probably say saline solution for my contacts, deodorant because I can't stand body odor, and soap because if they're just 3 items, well then I guess I'd have to wash my hair with soap...not something I'd really look forward to with tangles and all. If it were a 4th item, I'd probably choose a razer because who really likes hair legs & armpits. Finally if it were a 5th item I'd probably chose some kind of vanilla or chocolate perfume because I like to smell nice every day.

Hi Zed,
Well, when it comes to my own personal uses I opt to purchases facial soap as my first priority as i could not put my favorite facial cream moisturizing without washing my face first, then of course the toothpaste it is not fine if one sleep or wake up, go out without brushing her/his own teeth..which is a must for good hygiene..
So far when it comes to general shopping which involves the needs of my family. My first priority is to buy the food items such as meats, veggies and fresh fruits, and secondary priority is for personal items such as toothpaste, shampoo, hair conditioner, soap and so on, then the last would be multivitamins and minerals need for the general wellness of my family...

Just three??! Zed my dea.. you could have asked for at least 5.. or did you leave that out so I could start a new discussion.
Okay..lemme think real hard on this one, coz honestly, there are tooo many things I could name.
1- Lipgloss : Because I don't use lipstick too much and I like to use gloss all the time.
2- Perfume/deo: Because I always love to smell fresh.
3- Facial tissues: Very handy while travelling, and I use them often.

See? Facial tissues can come in handy when you drool like that= LOL
Perfumes.. well I like anything that is not super strong, but strong enough to make me feel fresh.. vanilla, lemony, musk like, floral (not all of them though..), is all good.
I can go into brands too.. But I will do it another time

Well there are several things, but i would say the three most important things would be firstly my beauty products- lipgloss, kajal, mascara etc.., I use them up too fast and so I have to take one extra just in case, each time I go shopping. Then, I would certainly not go home without buying my lovely son, some toy or the other to play with. Then, I would say shampoo and conditioners....

In my neighborhood I think the answer would be pizza, pizza, and pizza. I cannot believe your three items are not FOOD, lol. I dilute regular liquid soap and refill my foaming soap container over and over, so I don't have to shop for soap that often, and a bottle of shampoo lasts me forever, plus I don't shave, so we will not bump into each other in the market obviously
OK, besides pizza, well the non-food items would be plastic bags, hydrogen peroxide and baking soda, followed closely by laundry detergent.

I did not mean to leave the impression that I go around all hairy, lol. I use an epilator instead of shaving. Ice cream is also very high on my list of favorite foods, but I don't shop for it often, as I buy a large container and then refreeze it in individual servings for portion control.

That's a very great idea; you know what, drannhh..I have observed some of your ways of doing things, and they are actually rather unique.. the art you adore and all that too included. Unique individual..
As for the hairy thingy, I wasn't thinking of hairy all around, but more like hairless, actually.. pardon me on that..

You don't shave? That's just awesome......
I have a hairy collection to boot, so I need the shaver always..
Yes, you are right; I suppose we won't be clashing anytime soon.. lol...
Actually, I was looking for answers being food too, if any mylotter responds as such and since you've said pizza, that's just so cool. Now I'm hungry already, ha..

I would need my face soap which I could use on my body if I had to, my moisturiser, and my Celestone cream which is a prescription cream I apply to my skin whenever I suffer from allergies, it is the only thing that will clear my skin in 24 hours. I wish I was allowed another thing because toothpaste would definitely be on the list! Uhmmm...Then again shampoo and conditioner, razors, shower gel...The list goes on...

That's cool; and you said you need your Celestone cream. I used to use this particular cream whereby if I don't use, I will feel itchy. But after a few years, I don't quite need it anymore; now I couldn't remember the name. So I could understand when you said that. But it's not a case of allergy for me, more like I thought I'd need it always, but I don't.. lol..

1. Bathroom essentials(shampoo and bath soap)
2. Food
3. Facial Wash
I take a bath everyday that's why bath soaps and shampoos is number one. Food, I will always eat when shopping and I love planning the weeks meal. Facial wash, I don't have pimples but sometimes I have them, when it appears it usually is big and is the nose area, I try to limit the pimple occurrence in my face.
