From where I stand, a life without love is just like an unsharped pencil.
Yes, love brings passion and desire, the passion to do things, the desire to be with someone ---whats the point of waking up everyday without love, without reason. Although love doesnt pay the bills, it's still the most important thing in the world.
Life without LOVE is no life at all? I completely agree with the point for love is really an important part of our life. What is your opinion?

Love have wider meaning. I live because i love myself and this love may extend to my family, friends or to a special someone. Love for the common good is a universal love, love for humanity, peace freedom and even to the environment. For me love is beyond what the mind could imagine passes to the oblivion of infinity.

thanks..love transgress beyond romance and the power of love entails a lot of sacrifices but it should begin with yourself as you could not love the others unselfishly if you do not learn to love itself...

I cannot even begin to imagine a life without love. Surely a person has to love someone or something. A person who doesn't love anything will have no motivation to live. One has to at least love oneself to continue to survive. If one is totally devoid of love, then life has absolutely no meaning whatsoever.

I think it depends how you define love. A life completely without love is a sad life - you are basically on your own and what's the point in working hard, earning money, but not having anyone to enjoy it with.
I think not finding the 'love of your life' is sad, too. I found mine and am grateful every single day. But there are also other types of love - the love of your friends, your family. Some people can live a perfectly happy life with 'just' those loves.

I Think love And understanding are equally important. To be Really understood and loved is the best thing.I think to have passion for what you do is key. There are many who never find the "one" but they are loved in other ways . They also love their work.

Hey getbrowser! I think I would have to maybe disagree a bit
with your statement! Love comes in all forms and types! The
first thing is that you must love yourself! That to me is the
most important type of love! Being in a relationship to me is
just not that important if you don't have love of oneself and
self respect! I guess my feelings come from years of hurt and
messed up relationships and I feel that other things are more
important to me right now! I have the love of my friends and
the love of my cats and to me that is more important then any
other type of love! I am in a relationship that is just not
satisfying and maybe that is where the cynism is coming from!
But, honestly I feel that loving oneself is the most important
thing before anything else and I just don't think that I will
ever be able to trust or love anyone else to that point!

I do agree with you, my friend. No love is like an ocean that tide in every direction of the earth...Love is very important in every humanity because there is no love means war...Even do I have no love life or girl friend to show the love that I have...There is a pure love in my heart that will preserve for someone else coming in front of this heart...Have a great day!

I agree, I think it's important to find that someone who completes you. I'd love to find a person who can make me weak in the knees with a kiss. I met someone a long time ago who did that for me. Now it seems like I''m just trying to get through the day anymore. I really do miss being in love with the person I'm with.

I couldn't agree more. To me the whole point of existence is to share love with those special people in our lives. May it be our mother, father, brother, sister, daughter, son or our lover. Everything we do or achieve only helps come closer to this goal. Without love we are aimless no matter what.

Agree wholeheartedly. However there are many forms of love, and I think the fullest, healthiest life is one made up of all of them. Finding your soulmate is, I think, what you are talking about. There is also the love of family, which can be equally rejuvinating and frustrating. The love found in a healthy, bible-centered church is one that accepts you as you are, yet still holds you accountable for your actions and helps you grow. The love of a vocation - whether housewife, garbage collector, or CEO - is key, for you may be doing the job for a lifetime. Love of country and community keeps you active and vital, while giving you resources when you need them the most.

of course, love is the most important thing in this world. Life without love is useless. Love makes the world go round. We live because of love. Love for our friends, family, animals, etc. We are inspired to do things because of love. I can not imagine life without love. I can not explain what will be the world without love. Love is everything.

A life without love is not life...We all need love for ourselves and for others and we need love to come back to us. People who are alone have love from their pets. Love is love no matter where it comes from as long as it is reciprocated. Without love and affection we may as well not be alive...

Well if you say so.. then it will be like that.. I think it just perspective of view to live your life, if you can't live without love that you will not comfortable with your life if you know there is no one that love you. But there are definitely certain people to avoid love in their life, they just find their self comfortable that way, so i think it just the way of thinking..

I don't believe so. I have a life with a vision and a dream to achieve, a goal to reach. I see that goal in front of my eyes. Love is important but, it is just a part of life, at least not more important than our goals and visions. There is one thing that is greater than love. That is devotion. When one is devoted to a task or some one, it is greater than love.
But of course, this is my opinion only and many people disagree with my opinion. It is a matter of personal choice and priorities.
