Congratulations to Valentino Rossi who just became the 2009 World Champion after confirming it with a third place finish in Sepang Malaysia this 25th of October. Rossi sealed the championship with still one race to go in the season. He was able to overcome the pressure put on him by his teammate lorenzo for most of the races of this season. Rossi who is already 30 years old bagged the world crown for the 9th time in three different manufacturers, three different class and five different engines. he became champion in different era of rising young stars. Congrats Valentino, you are truly an icon in motorcycle racing.
