i just can't believe that you guys came to my rescue so fast. I sooo appreciate it because you won't believe this i mean i can't any way but my virus is gone! my mom is happy and proud that i fixed it. And i couldn't have don't it with out you guys! i can't thank you enough! i love all of you and thank you again. I will try to send a friend request to all who has helped me in my time of need. and i will answer one of your discussions very soon. i hope that shows my appreciation and so this discussion doesn't get deleted i will ask a question.
have you ever got a virus on your computer? what did you do? did you go to the store buy a virus scan or did you download one online?

Woohoo! It is really cool that you were able to take care of the virus issue and all is fixed. Great going!
I have always had an Anti-virus on my machine. I am kinda careful with my laptop and treat it like my baby..lol.. I mean I really take care of it. I scan my comp for viruses at least 2ce a week. Plus I also run, Anti-Malware program. So never had too many virus issues really. :)

Its really wonderful by solving your problem yourself by taking help from the available sources. Its a very good encouraging way to get rid from the problems like virus attacks.
I am a technical guy and provide technical support online.. you can verify my profile for my site where you can get free support. So I do solve my problems most by myself by referring websites.

wow, I can see how relieve you are, getting rid of these annoying viruses really is happiness. Your mylotter friends here are ready to help anytime whenever they can. In my case, learning from experiences, I always make sure that my anti virus is running and updated all the time because I believe defense is the best open specially against these viruses but everytime somebody like my friends or relatives ask me for help because their pc is infected with viruses, I usually go to kaspersky.com and download their kaspersky internet security free trial download and install it to their pc and it can really detect and wiped all those annoying viruses.

Oh yea that is why I knew what I know about computers. I had just brought a new gateway computer in 2000 and it got this virus. Boy was I mad I was new at learning to use a computer so I didn't know what to do either. I had to call gateway and in a couple of hours they had it all fixed and up and running. I started watching a TV show called screen savers and call for help and I learned a lot about computers from them. The one thing is that you can always fix it so after that I started to teach myself from the internet and learned quite a lot. Glad you could get your computer up and running again.
