This Is A Must See Video...About One Woman's Reaction To Flu Shot

A fellow MyLotter who is also at Facebook posted this video on his profile page. It's about a 25 year old woman, Desiree Jennings from Ashburn, Virginia who on August 23rd got the seasonal flu shot. Ten days later she developed an extreme neurological condition in which she can't walk without jerking, staggering, can hardly talk...And yes her case is considered a rare, rare reaction to a flu shot...but how many other people could possibly have the same reaction? Or if not as bad, some possible detrimental reaction? Now many of my friends here know how I feel in general about medications and vaccines...I stay away from them. I've done articles of what ingredients are in vaccines, from formaldehyde, aluminum, thermisol, usually antibiotics, just to name a few, then are the added "extras" say in the H1N1 flu vaccine that contains a serum made up of the diseased organs from the Green African Monkey...Gardasil has roach killer in it. Anyway, watch this Youtube video of what happened to this one woman who got a flu shot. Her life will never be the same and I hope she's suing big time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mScGC7nFDxM&feature=player_embedded

http://www.dystonia-foundation.org I had seen her on TV. There was a second woman on The Doctor TV show with the same form of Dystonia. Montel Williams is trying to help this one get better. She's just a little older, but was affected a little worse. The only cure the docs have is to put electrodes in her brain by operating on her while she's AWAKE!!! This is very scary. The link is to the Dystonia Foundation for those wanting more information. They are saying they know of NO connection of Dystonia to Flu shots. However, this revelation is so new, they wouldn't have a connection.

What I have to laugh is that the medical community will say there's no connection with any detrimental side effects like what happened to that woman...of course not! If people realized what reactions they MAY get from the vaccines, can you imagine how many people would sue? In fact I remember reading somewhere that there is some kind of disclaimer about the H1N1 vaccine, that if a person DOES have a severe reaction, they can't sue

Exactly!!! I think they added that disclaimer to the Seasonal shot this year as well. I bet that you could still sue them though. Most juries are people like all of us here. I know I'd vote to award some money to somebody whose life was so drastically changed!!!

Mel, did you see Inside Edition tonight??? They say this video has been tampered with. Their video says doctors say there is NO reason to not get the flu shot. This video clearly edited a word or two out changing the meaning of the video. They were saying that only 1 in 1 million has a chance of coming down with Dystonia. Acceptable odds? NOT if you're the 1 that gets it!!!

Yeah after I started researching into what goes into vaccines I would never consider getting a vaccine for ANY problem

THe last time things went around with the swine flu and we were all required to get the shot I was sick all winter......I do not plan on getting this one! I had the Hong Kong flu in 1972 and very rarely get the flu anyway!

Like I said often, my mother never had the flu save the two times she got a flu shot...so how does getting the vaccine help if one comes down with the flu??

Hi pye, That is so sad, so she will have to walk back or run to to talk, that is awful, that is the troubble wit medicine, they eithr cure or give you side affects, that is why I don't take any medications, if I can help it but I have to take my astham inhalers as I suffer from bad from it. Bright Blessings Tamara

My great grandmother who was a nurse had a favorite saying almost similar. It'll either cure you or kill you..no wonder she thought docs were idiots and she was a nurse

Its hard to believe that its true. I mean the disease itself is so strange. If its true then it is very sad that the woman has to go through such hardships. This certainly makes me have second thoughts of taking Flu shots or other vaccines.

a lot of people can have detrimental affects from vaccines. My mother knew a woman whose daughter got the flu shot and she became a wheelchair bound cripple for the rest of her life

Our HMO offered us flu vaccine at a discounted price but i never took it because I've read in a newspaper that vaccine has mercury as its preservative. Mercury as we know it is fatal to humans. There are several colleagues of mine who took the vaccine but that didn't keep them from getting sick, it seems to me that that flu shot have no effect so far. Another reason why I did not take the shot is because I believe our immune system is more capable of fighting the flu without the help of vaccines. You just have to take care of your body and it will take care of itself. Cheers!

You're right, many vaccines do contain mercury in it which is a downright poison

I agree, it's a tragic situation, and I feel horrible for her and her family. It won't stop me and my family from getting the H1N1 vaccine. There are reactions for a very small percentage of people to every single medical procedure out there. Currently, there are young people in hospital on ventilators in Ontario where I live. One young boy has passed away because of swine flu. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/torsun/091027/canada/killer_flu_strikes

It's apparently affecting young healthy people because they have a lesser chance of having developed any immunity like us old people have.

I can't help thinking maybe children nowadays have less immunity to anything since some people go overboard with all those antibacterial products...we've been exposed to germs and bacteria and it won't affect us older folks...but if a person keeps a real antibacterial type home then I can't help think kids by not being exposed to the germs/bacteria are affected by them when they are exposed...does that make sense??? LOL

It does seem odd that this flu seems to affect young kids more...I've seen similar stories on the news about how sick kids get and are on ventilators

egads. you never hear about this stuff. While I think some vaccines are good like the ones for Polio for example, I never get a flu shot simply because I don't need one. I have a very good immune system that keeps me healthy and flu shots are actually a waste on me. Besides I know you can get sick from getting them. How tragic for that girl.

I just found the earlier interview they did with that woman. Makes you wonder if others have had side effects...maybe not as extreme but still. I only had the flu once in my life at age eleven and have never taken a flu shot...after watching this I definitely won't Here's the other video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPjDHM5OF_A

Wow that is messesd up. I feel really bad for her. I like you tend to shy away from shots and such like this. Ya just can't trust them. Here in the area I live in right near Albany NY, they are calling for all health care workers especially in hospitals to have the H1N1 shot, and if they don't they will be fird. Many healthcare workers are protesting this action, and I don't blame them. To be forced to do something is wrong. I hope she sues as well, because her life is ruined now.

Wow, I never get a flu shot either.. I had the flu last in 1990. So I honestly don't what The point would be in my getting it? I get sick maybe twice a year and that's even with me a having asthma. they always like to scare you into thinking if you have this or this you are more likely to get it.. I personally have never really like meds since I was a child -my mother used to have to come up with creative ways to get me to take children's aspirin. :) I do however have to take a few meds now for above mentioned asthma. But I don't see the need for all these shots and what ever.. I even had people over the last well decade really, after me to get a tetanus shot.. once or twice after I stepped on nails and again when I slammed my finger under the hood of my car.. Ok that in itself hurt.. but I didn't get the shot. People panic for nothing. I am fine. I am a firm believer in whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger.. builds up an immunity.. :) Thanks for the link..I am going to share that on my facebook page.

LOL--don't ask how many times I've accidentally stepped on a nail and didn't go racing out to get a tetanus shot. I can't help thinking with medications in general, not just vaccines, we've actually weakened our immunity system, don't you think?

Once my doctor wanted to give me Celebrex...it's an NSAID..anti-inflammatory...before I got it prescribed I looked it up...the severe warnings are it may trigger blot clots, strokes and heart attacks. Did I take it? No Way!!! Yes one hears of the side effects and wonders who the heck would want to take this stuff?

I certainly know where you are coming from.. a friend of mine goes to the ER a lot and it seems every time she goes she is given percocet or vicadin. I myself would constantly get antibiotic scripts when I went to doctor for a cold or my asthma. And I would tell them the lungs aren't infected. I mean you can tell... It tastes like crap if you cough it up (sorry for graphics). So most of the time I would either not fill it or maybe fill it to have it around, so I wouldn't have to go see the morons and waste another $30 on an office visit the next time.. lol I can not believe your husband was given percocet for flu like symptoms. Come on! And then when people REALLY have pain this stuff wont work because we all been desensitized to it!

I saw this woman on the news here just tonight, the poor thing...Her life is ruined...My daughter had a bad reaction to a flu shot given to her when she about four, not as bad as Desiree thankfully but enough to give her a rash all over and a temperature. Being a child she was to have the injections in two parts but I did not go back for the second shot. I had it myself at that time and I was fine but after my little one’s reaction I have not had one again and I am very hesitant to ever try it now. I hope Desiree does sue, for sure, although no one can give her back her quality of life.

It does make you wonder how many people may have been affected by vaccines in general...not as severe as that woman Desiree, but they may have had some bad reaction to it..just as your own daughter got sick from that injection that time.

When we are really sick we need the services of a good doctor. But as time and technology gets more advanced I wonder just how much good the doctors are really doing. Sometimes I think they are out to get us. If they are not using their patients as experiments they are letting the government make health care decisions without regard for medical necessity.

It's ironic isn't it? With all the so-called technology we have I feel we're going backwards instead of forwards as far as real medical help.

I learned the hard way over twenty years ago that just because a doctor had been to school all those years didn't make him or her any smarter than me. When my husband became paralyzed I started doing research on what kind of treatment he needed and found several things they should have been doing but were not. When I asked his team of doctors about these things they asked if I thought they should be doing it and when I said yes they would start. The amazing thing is they had all that education and yet they waited for me to tell them what to do. That's when I stopped trusting blindly anything the doctors said.

Oh my God this poor women. This is why I don't get flu shots I seriously think they are to dangerous. Why kind of a life is she going to have now. This is horrible. I feel so bad for her and her husband. Will she ever or now want kids I bet not. How would she be able to have a family. This is just not fair and I hope some how whatever happened to her fixes itself back to how she was before. If she can run and be able to talk at the same time and walk backwards hopefully something will happen to reverse this for her.

Unfortunately, I'm sure part of the forms she signed had that disclaimer stating things might go wrong. I personally don't get flu shots because of the "crap" that's in them. I'm not real big into putting synthetic or genetically altered stuff into my body. I try the herbal side of things as much as possible.

That's the real problem...one often does sign a consent/disclaimer form and who does it protect? The medical community and the pharmaceutical companies--can you image how many people would sue?

I guess what they should have done, is they should have looked at the medical history of that woman before they have done anything. Anything that will result to this. I'm sure they know the risks they simply just won't explain it and tell us what to do in case this happens. It's not something that can be tolerated. To bad for that woman . I hope there is a way for the neurological symptoms she developed from the vaccine can be cured.

That video is horrible to watch! I feel so badly for that poor woman. And, it leaves me asking what should we do? We hurried to have my grandson get the shot. He was able to get the nasal spray version. I have heard they are hurrying to make batches of this to get it out to the public. That is sort of scarey too. It really makes you wonder what to do. It is rare and a chance we all have to take.

I just got done watching, and had to sit here quiet for a minute. That poor girl, how hard it must be for her. I mean can you imagine going from extremely healthy athlete to not even being able to walk, eat, talk etc..? It makes me so mad that people are looking at me like I'm a piece of crap because I won't give my kids flu shots. Sorry if I won't put it in my own body,.. I'm certainly not putting it in my kids. p.s.- I also can't believe some of the crap people say on the youtube comments. Some people should have never been born for pete's sake!
