For me, it depends of the time that I use for studying. If I study a lot and get some good mark, I feel really happy in that moment. I'm an old bookworm, and I always had excellent marks, but sometimes it is happening that I get some bad mark at school. Then I feel really upset if I give a lot of time for "nothing".
What about you guys? Do you feel sad when you get bad mark at school, or you just don't care about it?

I hate not being good at something. I am really competitive! So at school or university I always studied a lot gave my best. If I had a bad grade, that really hurt because of the time invested and because I knew I should have done better. A bad grade probably only doesn't hurt if you haven't invested any time.

There are at some points that I feel really bad. Like my past Sociology exam I got a 72 on and I thought I had least gotten around at 85 if not a 90 on the exam. So I was really mad but when we went over the questions I realized that he made a ton of trick questions in the exam that he thought were fair when they really weren't so I wasn't bad at that point.
Otherwise if I get a bad mark I normally know its because I didn't study as much or I didn't go to all the classes to really learn the material so I can't blame anyone besides myself.

My marks are mostly above average, but when they are not as high as I expect them to be, I could get devastated for the rest of the day. Well probably not that worse, but I do feel really bad. I feel like I deserve better since just like you, I spent a whole lot of time to prepare for the exam. I'm in college now but the feeling is still the same as the feeling i got since primary school.

I will be upset, sad, mad, and be ashamed of myself. Pressure and expectation on me is so high. My family, relatives and friends has set the bar so high for me. They're expecting great results from me. And if I fail it would be like the end of the world for me. Haha.
