If you are familiar with the Internet, I believe pretty much all of you have purchased at least one thing online in the past. And I guess most of you probably purchase online regularly, be it goods on Amazon, eBay, ebooks and courses or web hosting.
From where I stand, Paypal is easier and quicker when you get the hang of it, and it also protects your credit card information. However, there are many people who complain about Paypal’s interface and people who had problems with their accounts over time.
When you buy online, Which is your choice out of security? PayPal or Credit Card?
Do you prefer to use Paypal or Credit Card for those online purchases?

I am defiantly one that would prefer to buy paypal. I completely trust them and it would prevent any unnecessary issues with my credit card. Like overcharges when someone makes unauthorized charges through a scam. If its in your credit card linked to a bank you can get it fixed it just takes longer and lots of charges and hassles are made. Paypal, you only put in what you want to spend. Or at least I only put in what I want to spend.

I do use Pay pal when the company or online store accepts it. If not I always then use my Discover Card because for each new purchase you get a one time different secure card number to use so the seller cannot access your actual credit card that makes it so easy to check if any one number has been used more than once..plus they take immediate action if you dispute a charge.

I have been using paypal to receive my payments from my earnings online. But I have not used paypal to purchase online. I do agree that paypal is very safe. But the purchases I make online is only for the things that I used for my training. Usually these are books and other items. The company has a record of my credit card details so when I purhcase, I just advise them to charge them to my credit card without sending them my card details since they already have it on record. So its quite safe. Maybe perhaps later on if I purchase from other stores or companies which I am not sure yet, I will be using paypal.

I am looking forward to the very first day --- my payday from mylot.

I'm not a big fan of online shopping except for purchasing plane tickets for our family trips. I use credit card in doing this because it's more convenient and easier to manage. I've never used my Paypal earnings, the money I earned from my online activities I keep it as mood changes.

I did once for a winter coat when i worked in the US two years ago. I used my credit card and never had any problem then. You know what-- that's the first time that i used a credit card. When i am in the Philippines i never had one and even when i returned i don't use credit card. I'll just maintain my US credit card just in case i will be given the chance to return to the US. This input about credit card use vs. paypal is a great information for me. I will bear this in mind. Thanks!

Hello there,
i like to use Paypal. I don`t know, but seems easy and anyway my paypal is all ready connected with my credit card. To buy with paypal its much easyer also because you don`t have so many things to fill out. Just an PayPal address. I have made many deals with paypal all ready in internet and i like it:)

I prefer paypal than credit card to buy online, because in this virtual world, the bank account was virtual too, so it must using virtual account too. I think it's dangerous using credit card to buy thing in this virtual world, because there are any crime that can break our money from credit card.

This is an interesting topic of discussion. :)
I honestly do not know which method of payment is more secure. I assume PayPal is more secure, although I am not certain of it.
Apart from the security aspect, I much prefer paying using PayPal.
It is so much faster and easier paying via PayPal than with a credit card, since one doesn't have to type in all of the numbers of a credit card to make a purchase!
Have a terrific day!

I do not have a credit card. I use my paypal card as credit instead of debit so that I can get the cash back bonus. The bonuses add up at the end of the month if you use it a lot like I do. I use the PayPal card at the Post Office and at the grocery store.

Online shopping is very handy these days and I'll honestly say I do shop online. xD Since Paypal is recommended by all, I use paypal instead of directly putting my credit card info on a site. I think it's much safer and paypal is tested by alot of people already. :)

i would rather use paypal because it is totally secure and i dont have to feel too nervous about using it. plus you can link your credit card to your paypal so it is alot easier. i am just more confident with paypal than to use a credit card. especially if i am shopping on a site i have never used before.
