Do you like to have a nap after lunch? I do. After lunch, I usually feel a little dozy. If I take a nap, I will refresh myself and do the afternoon work more efficiently. I knoe some people do not have time for the nap because they have to go on with their work after lunch. Do you have a nap after lunch?

Every once and awhile I will take in a quick snooze after lunch, but for the most part I don't like doing it, because it seems to bring down my energy level the rest of the day, and kind of makes me drowsy. I know some people are all about mid-afternoon naps, but for me I just prefer to stay awake and get to bed at a decent time. I do the best I can to try to keep myself awake after a lunch, that is of course unless I spent an hour or two at a all you can eat buffet ;)

Hi bsabers: i understand you're reason... i just feel like a little child when i woke up after taking a nap in the afternoon and i know that i have to go to wotk. So horrible but this won't make me lazy for the rest of the day, just the first 2 hours. Lol. XD

Hi msq516!
I like taking a nap after lunch. It helps me recharge for more activities in the afternoon. You are right, it will help us refresh and do more afternoon work more efficiently. But of course, if I have other tasks to accomplish, taking my siesta is a luxury.

Hi friend! Most of the people use to nap after lunch, yes after a nap people get energetic to do the work and will be fresh. I do not nap after lunch as I am working, in office it is not allowed to nap, but on holidays and sundays I do a nap and wish to nap for a long time that I sleep for 3-4 hours. Have a good day.

I've never really been into naps, but it's a good idea to refresh yourself. Usually, I go and go and go and then drop with exhaustion at the end of the day.

Yep, i do like. Every noon, after lunch i'd like to have a nap on my chair in office that is very nice. After that, i feel clear in my brain and vigorous for the next half-day working. But i have only 30 minutes to do this every day in my company, its better if the time is 1 hour, hahaha:)

Yes, I do need one now, or else you'll find me drowsy all the time in the evening. During my earlier years, I skipped it as I was working. For the last three years, this nap is a must for me, even if it is for just 5 to 10 minutes.

I feel very sleepy at my work place after lunch, but I dont have a nap.... infact during my weekends I try not to have a nap because if I take one in the afternoon I cannot sleep at night... but on sunday I really really like to have a nap but then I keep thinking it would be difficult to fall asleep at night and I try to avoid it... but somedays I just give in and take a nap and regret after waking up......
So I would rather not take a nap even if I have a chance and be at home... because an half hour nap is ok.... not too bad, but if I sleep in the afternoon I cannot wake up for 2-3 hours... so I avoid it.....

Hello msq516,
I don't take a nap after lunch because I am working. I seldom take a nap too during weekends. When I was schooling, long time ago... whenever I took a nap, I felt very upset when I woke up afterward. I felt that I spent time for nothing just because I took a nap! That sounds weird though...

I just like napping in general! Unfortunately I don't usually have time for it and I need to be laying down to fall asleep, so no cat naps in the car on lunch break or anything. Someday, when I don't have to work anymore, I'll take full advantage of nap time!

HI msq516
Yes, I always have it! It's fun and after lunch, same with you, I feel so sleepy and can't concentrate on anything. So, better to take a nap for 2 hours, after that I feel so fresh. My parents say, it is not good to have a sleep directly after finish our meal, it can make us fat,, but I don't care, I just feel sleepy. Once I was in school and after ate my lunch, I was not allowed to took a nap because there was another event. I felt really sleepy and can't understand what the event about. Now, after lunch I always search for the time to take a nap

I would love to have a nap after lunch some days. In particular if I had a heavy meal in the canteen. But unfortunately after 30 minutes lunch it's back into the office and working! So I try to have a light lunch instead and keep my sleep for night time!

I can't nap after lunch or anytime during the day unless I'm sick. If I take a nap during the day I am mean when I wake up. I think it messes me up cause I feel bad for the rest of the day if I take a nap and I just feel like I'm in a fog the rest of the day and I stay ill for some reason. But if I'm sick I can sleep during the day and not get mean. I don't know why my body is like that but it is.

Before i got so involved with Mylot, taking a nap during lunch break is part my daily routine after taking our lunch... but not anymore this time. Instead of taking a nap i maximize the remaining minutes of my lunch break for responding on to Mylot.

I usually take at least one nap a day. I don't work so it is no problem. I start to get tired and can't think straight. If I have a decision to make, I do it after a nap. The few times I didn't I would wake up and think "now why did I do that?" After a nap you think better and have more energy to do whatever it is you have to do.
