Do you prefer routine in your life? Planning your day or week? Or do you prefer doing things spontaneously? No prior planning required?

I don't necessarily like routine but I like having a plan and sticking to it. Occasional spontaneity is good, too, though!

I get all confused when unexpected things happen in my day. I am much of a planner and can't just get up and go :) I need a few hours to adjust first (unless it's my idea of course). My husband can't tell me we are going on a trip and leaving in two hours. It freaks me out - I'm like a headless chicken.

Hello and welcome to Mylot. If I have matters of business to attend to, I like to be organised for those. However, we live in Spain, where life is very laid back and it's too hot to bustle around, so we do most things spontaneously. Even when we have visitors to show around, we usually just take each day as it comes. In fact, my husband hates people trying to organise him.

If I could choose, I would choose spontaneity in life, because it does not require planning, and not easily trapped in boredom. But, I had to choose a routine, because in daily, I have experienced life in work and routine activities.
