Of course not! life is sweet while you are alive because you know that at any day that life may be taken away from you. I would want to see everybody around me just pass me by. To be mortal is a gift.

goo way of thinking it like that. alos, you would live life know what tommorow i going to be like. I think i like knowing that I don't know what happens to m in the future. If you don't understand then I will understand.

It's quite tempting, provided that you won't grow old as well, I mean what's the point of living forever if you can't run, jump and walk anymore because you're too old to do so.
But on the other hand, you'd see your loved ones pass you and another set of loved ones until everyone you love would die, that would certainly be torture.
I think it's best to have the option to know when you'd die, at least you'd be prepared for it.

I would live forever only if my loved ones would also. I don't want to live alone and be all alone. Also i cannot see my loved ones passing away before me. I just cannot see that. Its better to die earlier than to see that. More over world today have become extremely unsafe and cruel. I cannot imagine how it would be after 100-200 years.
So its no, I would never want to live forever.

That's certainly an interesting question. Living forever would mean you will last till the end of time, and after that, who knows how you're going to live. Immortality, I probably wouldn't go for it simply because of the thought of outlasting the human race is pretty scary. On the other hand, I would gladly take eternal youth. Be young forever and take all the time I want to enjoy life, and if the human race goes, so will I.

If you go to Heaven you'll be 'living forever,' but without freedom. That DOESN'T seem like a curse to you? Whatever ... probably better than 'resting in peace,' but what do I know?

I have no doubt that heaven is so much better than what we have here.
As important however in answering this I would consider one other thing. If you were able to live forever your life would be a constant string of losses.
You would out live everyone you ever knew and it would not be long before you knew you would. Seeing your family go one by one would be a horrible thing let alone the same for so many future generations.
Living forever here on this earth would not be a blessing but I do think you are right, it would be a curse.

No way would I want to live forever. Even if I could remain my 28 year old age and never look any older I wouldn't want to live forever. I know some people don't believe in God, Jesus, or Heaven, but I do. And I would rather live in paradise someday than keep plugging along here. For now I will live my life to the best of my ability. Life is precious. But when my times comes, I'll be ready for the other side.
