Whatever happen in life, has two kind of effects. One effect is positve and another is negative. And which effect you are going to take it depends on how you interpret the incident. Some people says why it always happen to me. But some people says It happens to me but now what next I should do. If you interpret the incident negatively it will negative effects. But you interpret it positively if will have positive effect. Yes, I believe everything happens for a purpose but it is up to you how interpret that.

I have my reservations about this question. Because I never thought it over and I can't visualize the relationship between some things, for example, what's the correspondence between the plane flying at a supersonic speech and I'm now typing letters on mylot? I can't image, dude, maybe only the God could figure these immensely complex things out. But I still respect your ideas, maybe it will be testified multi-decade later.

Yeah kungfu boy.. I think you find a liitle bit difficulty in understanding this discussion. Well I respect your response. I'm talking about the sireis of events in our lives. Do you belive that everything that happens to you has a purpose? example you failed to pass a job interview. Do you think that happens for another purpose?

That is what we should think whenever we commit failures. It serves as motivator for those who is feeling down for the bad thing happend. If we have that mindset, we will be strong and we can face anything because we are full of hope. If we stumble, we will stand again and continue walking. Happy myLotting!

Yes of course, why are you doubting about it? Just like what you've said everything that's been happening around us is interrelated or should I say somewhat connected to each other especially us--people.Well,it's really hard to understand how and why cause only God knows the answer...just imagine..how can you explain that people became this populated where in fact in the beginning there were only ADAM and EVE and then when they've had kids, all are boys???where did Eve's sons got girls for them to have children?Isn't it just magical and?Better believe it in yourself rather than not cause you'll just give yourself a heart attack to keep on wondering and asking like bothering to those kind of questions....

Hi,I think so because i observed the same in my life many times. Some times few symbols give precautions to us that some thing is going to happen. Some times few happenings leads to good changes in our life.EX.If you miss bus when you have to go to interview for job, some times you may get further benefits...

I've always felt that everything happens for a reason. Whether it really does or not....who knows. I will say that that sort of thinking keeps my attitude and spirit in check. It has made me stop and actually look for something to be learned from the negative experience and I will say that more than not...there is something that I need to learn. Sometimes it takes a while but I can look back on almost everything and see that some good came from it no matter how horrible it seemed at the time.

Hello there EARLZHAN! ^^V
well for me NO... i don't think everything happens for a purpose... but because everything happens because it's my choice... example, I decided to go to a movie theater.. everything that will happen from the time a got out from home till i get home is because it is my choice.....
Something really cool happens like i saved a beautiful lady from harm then we get in touch each other, now that's because it's was my choice "Yes ill save the lady"... if my choice was "nah someone will save her" then i wouldn't be with that lady.. it was my choice....
well i might be wrong i might be right... that's what i think...

I don't know if I think everything actually happens for a purpose, but I think every situation can be turned around for a purpose.
I am a Christian and I ultimately believe God plans for things in our lives to work out in ways that we may not even see until we look back on them. But I also believe He gave us free will, and that means we have free will to make mistakes. Therefore I believe some things that have happened to me have been consequences of my own or others actions that didn't NEED to happen.
But, as I said, whether something was put in your life for a purpose, or whether it was a result of something that should not have happened, I believe ANYTHING can be turned around for good or to learn something.

I firmly believe that everything happens for a purpose, and i do believe that some things are preordained and some are not, there are no coincidences and no accidents, everything happens because something set it into motion.

Hi EARLZHAN
At begining i believe everthing happens for nothing,we are friends,we are deskmates,we are classmates……we are happy for every relationship eachother. That happened in my collegue! After graduation from collegue everything was changed……when i worked for 3 years i found everything happens for purpose……for money, for profit, for promotion……

Yes, I believe that everything happens for a purpose. But a person can still choose the circumstances that will happen to him/her. We have the full control of our life, and God teaches us how to use our wisdom, that is why we are considered the highest form of animals, because we have knowledge. We can think, plan for our future with God's guidance, of course.

I am a firm believer in everything happens for a reason. It may not always be what we want, but it is what we are given to deal with. I don't know if we are to learn a lesson from things that happen to us, but it is a strong possibility. I don't think we are given anything we can not handle. Life may sometimes be filled with such turmoil that we can not bear, but we find a way to get through it. When somethings happen to us the purpose might just be to open a new door for us.

Yes, one of my friends have talked a lot about that. But until now, there are no proofs that can confirm the discussion.
It seems that lots of people think that every thing happens for a reason and if that is true then none of us are in control of our lives, and I definitely believe that I am in control of my life. If evrything happens for a purpose, we may have no direction what to do next and don't want to do any efforts any more. It is really a confusing thing.
Happy myLotting!

From a religious view, I certainly believe that everything happens for a reason. I believe that God makes everything happen for a reason. Additionally, we still can't explain why some things, medical miracles for example, happen to certain people. God, from my perspective, is the only way I can explain why these things would happen. His purpose for doing these things is unfortunately something we'll never know.
