I like cleaning up my cabinets from any mess and things or stuff that i don't need any more and dispose them. but sometimes i try to look for somethings and feel that i have thrown those or them with those tings i threw away already. and sometimes i feel sorry for throwing some old stuff though they may not be useful but sometimes i get to find some good use for them.
Like i am looking for SD card. i felt or think that i may have kept them in the cellphone box i have thrown away. and so i am trying to look for my SD card that has some important picture that i have stored in it.
So in my place, they often remind me to throw only my own things cause i tend to throw other people's stuff specially the old stuff that are not expensive but still important for other people.
So are you guilty of throwing things lately that may be useful in some other time in some other ways?

For me throwing old stuff is a must. We need to let go of some old stuff otherwise we will have mountains of wanted things. Throwing doesn't neccessarily means sending our old stuffs to garbage cans, but getting rid of them by giving away to others for free or for sale.

yeah that is what i avoid. i don't want for my cabinet too look a garbage bin where all unused and old stuff are stored. and i don't want to go through those garbage just to look for something.

Well it is really hard to look for something more so if your cabinet is so crowded... You are not only wasting the space but also your time and energy looking for things that was underneath those unwanted old stuff. But be very careful also in throwing your things.

Hi Hotsummer,
Yes I'm guilty of this too. I have a habit of keeping old things for a long time but when I make some major cleaning, I throw those that I think are no longer important and just clutter around the house. One time I threw a box full of old toys of my kids and then a month after my niece called me asking for old toys for her 3-yr old son. I truly regret having to throw those old toys that could have made another child happy.

yeah. it is something we can't get back once throw away. anyways, there is nothing else we can do than just replace what we have thrown away by mistake.

I don't thow away things often and I think it never happened that I lost something I really wanted and felt sorry. Ok, that goes on for the objects too. My computer is a different thing. I'm really untidy in my documents folder so sometimes I clean up...I try to divide things so to not throw anything important, but I always lose something I wanted.

it seems there will be some things that we will lose along the way of cleaning up some mess no matter how careful we choose what goes out and what stays.

maybe but not always....actually I don't like to throw my old stuff though I like to clean my cabinets for easy to find in the next time...I think we should have a good habit to classify our old staff, of course, if you surely believe you will never use them again, it's ok for you to throw them out...thanks and good day

usually if it is still useful but i don't want it any more i just give it away. it is really useless i throw them away. maybe i just didn't throw i just forget where i placed it. i don't actually remember which stuff i threw and which ones i just kept in other place of the house.

I usually keep things on my cabinets or any storage container. Why? because I was afraid i might need them in the future. To the point where I have a lot of stuffs at my house and look kind of messy but i don't regret it because I have use on them when i needed it.

Yes, that happens to me, too. I have the habit of keeping things thinking that I might use them in the future. I seldom throw them away. But there was a time that when I was cleaning my clothes cabinet, I decided to give away old clothes whose styles were no longer up-to-date. Then I was so sorry because there came a time that I was looking for a particular piece of clothing which my daughter needed for a school activity. I felt guilty having given it away because I had to buy again for my daughter. I wish we know whether old things will still be useful in the future in order to save them.

me too i usually throw them or give them away. but i rarely find any use for the old clothes i already disposed. so i don't feel sorry for doing that.
