In the Economy How Do You Use Your Online Earnings?

I'm a member of several sites and used to use that extra money to simply buy things I saw and wanted. I'd let my paypal just build up until I spent some on some little or big purchase. That way I didn't have to spend my pay check on this sort of thing. Now with the economy so bad and everyone losing their jobs here lately I've had to use my paypal buying food. It has come in handy for those times that we had to pay the mortgage and barely had any money left over. I'm jsu very sad having to spend my online earnings in that way but at least I have them and they help pull us through. Have you changed your habits of how you spend your "extra" money or are you one of the lucky one's that are still able to save it up. I'm hoping that soon my husband will be back to work and I can start rebuilding my paypal account. It's starting to get very small now.

I never have any problems with my sites. Of course I clean my cookies every once in a while anyway. My computer has never slowed down on me from the sites I use. Now I did become a member of one site that I had problems with so I simply never went there again.

Isn't it sad that so many of us are having to use what was once our "play money" to help buy food, gas and just pay monthly bills? I'm just hoping this gets better and people are able to find jobs. Are you the Shar from Buxtro? If so, you are doing very well there!

I'm not working and we are barley getting by, but I reinvest my earnings. I'm trying to build a program where my investments will grow and get to the point where I do nothing! I'll always be trying to get more referrals but I do get a small weekly income but don't take the cash out, I just leave it there and watch it grow! tdemex

I only use my online earnings to pamper myself. Every payout, I head on to Ebay and find stuff that interests me. That's the best thing I could do so as not to get disappointed because I only have a few earnings and if I try to cash that out, I would only get fewer. Might as well spend them all and enjoy the stuff I am able to purchase with them.. :D

I'm jealous, lol. That's what I used to do too. That or buy in the store something I wanted. Enjoy those purchases and I hope you never have to start using that money to pay bills.

About 2 months ago, I used my earnings online to build my first English blog.
I have spent much time on makeing money online and I always treat it as an interesting to do. But now, you see, with the downturn of the economics, I have found that my online earnings are really useful although it is not a big number. In fact, I am trying best to make more money online. If I can earn 100 dollars next month, I will buy a new cellphone to my father.
Happy myLotting!

You are a nice guy getbrowser. Not all young people like to buy some thing for their parents. But it seems that you are ready to spend all your earnings to buy a cellphone for your father. Keep up the good work. May god bless you.

I haven't been using my online earnings, but right now my paypal account is pretty small - I can make more than there is there by working one day. It doesn't really feel like the economic problems have hit around here completely yet.
On the other hand, we are paying off a lot of debt. I plan to use the paypal account to pay for Christmas.

You are very lucky that you've not felt the economy problems. I hope that you never have to because they are horrible.

No I still class it as my Sending Money but there is only me, so I do not have extra Mouths to feed or anything like that
Also my Paypal Money would have to be sent to my Bank account and that would take 7 Days, by the time they take their charges of for that and it gets converted into pounds it is not worth doing it as I do not belong to that many Sites

I used to use my online earnings for extras too, usually stuff I wanted from eBay, but now its going toward groceries and bills. I put all of my online earnings into my bank account evey month so I can withdraw as cash for whatever I need. I wish things would get better so I can go back to saving and eBaying!

So you are in the same boat as me. I can only hope this all gets better very soon. My plans earlier this year was to save my money up to help with Christmas. So much for that, maybe next year.

my online earnings go to whatever we need at the time i get paid. it could be food or gas in the car or a bill that needs to be paid or perhaps towards a gift for my son for christmas or his birthday. i use it wisely no matter what it goes to and never squander it.

At least you have some online income coming in to you as another stream of income.
Some others may not and some are worse off.
In fact, I do have my own websites and blogs to make some money online here are there and I keep those money for rainy days ... I don't need to use it now, but i may not know when i may need to use it .....

I know and I'm lucky that I do have that to fall back on. I do realize that other's may not have that. There are always people worse off but my situation is heading there pretty quickly. As long as I can pay my mortgage, I'll somehow get by. Maybe with no electricity but at least I'll have my home, right.

I turned to the internet for a little extra income because I needed to. All of my earnings go towards bills and food. I do have a full time job, but because of the economy, I do not receive the same amount of hours that I used to. I've also picked up a second retail job to compensate, but because a part time job pays half of what a full time job does, it takes me two hours at my PT job to make what I make at my FT job in ONE hour.
I remembered that I could make money online, because when times were good, I had signed up at FusionCash to make money for the little extras that I wanted.
I turned back to that site in neccesity, instead of want. I do what I have to do to make it for my family. :) And when things get good again, I'll have and keep my online accounts to save for the next rainy economic situation!

I have been using my Paypal funds to pay for supplies for my handmade jewelry shop and for gifts for my sons for their upcoming birthdays & the holidays. I also get paid for taking surveys and my account there is over $30. They offer Amazon.com gift cards (they actually send out the code, if you are using it to shop) and I'll be using that account to buy gifts also.
During the year, I do use my Paypal funds to help pay off my credit cards, buy food or gas, and help pay small bills. The economy has definitely changed the way I spend money.
