Pumpkin Bucket or Pillow Case: Which do/did you use?

With Halloween tonight, I have been thinking about all those years that I went door to door as a kid. I always used a pillow case since we did not have the money for the fancy little pumkin buckets. Plus, a pillow case holds a lot more candy ;). What did you use as a child or still use now: a pillow case or a pumpkin bucket or something else and why?

Two of my kids went as witches so they carried little cauldrons to put candy in. My son and niece carried plastic pumpkin containers. I wasn't allowed to celebrate halloween as a child so never had the experience myself.

That's cute, they match their containers to their costume. I bet they get extra candy for that. ;)

i know what my family always did was carry the pumpkin buckets and then bring plastic grocery bags to fill up once the pumpkins got too full... then we swited to putting the candy in pillow cases once the pumpkins got too full
