Well, the first reason i create a blog is for my own personal pleasure. I really like writing and i need to express my self to relieve my stress. But after a few month, i starting to know the importance of traffic and that you can make money with blog so sometime i change my motivation of making money with blog, and sometime just to express my self. That's why i can keep posting since i know blog that are updated at least once a day will get more and more popular in Search Engine. How About you?

I orignially started my blog because I wanted to make money on it, but that hasnt happened. I guess the reason that I continue with the blogging is that I am always hopeful that it will turn into a moneymaker one of these days. I enjoy blogging and sharing my thoughts about different sites with people.

promoting my novel that i self published on lulu. promoting my articles that i write on 4 writing sites because i need more traffic. writing entertaining articles for internet people because many bored people like to surf the net in search of entertainment. writing articles to educate people about animal rights, health, and life, and learning new ways of doing things better. writing articles to help others do it yourself, like the article i wrote to tell others how to self publish their own book. but mostly to write positive articles to negate all the negative bs going on in society.

I like to share my thoughts that's why I created different blogs. One blog is specifically dedicated to all my online money-making adventures to help others earn extra money.

So you actually have more then one blog. Is it two, or maybe more the two blogs? Anyway, for me, it is hard to maintain more then one blog since it seem hard enough for me to write at least one article everyday. With having two blog, i will not able to keep up writing article at it. Thanks.

Just like you, the first reason I create a blog is for my own personal pleasure. When I have built my first blog, everyday, when I have some spare time I will post articles to share my experience in my daily life. But then, one of my friend tell me that we can earn some extra money from blogs, so, I pay more attention to make money online via blogging. Yes, at that time, making more money online motivated me to keep posting on it everyday. But now, the blog is becoming an important part of my life. With keep posting, I have make some friends with people who are interested in my articles. In all, blogs have helped me gain many useful information, some extra money and be able to socialize more with more and more people.

My first blog was with my friendster account. I liked the way I could express myself. It was a good outlet for my feelings. Then I moved to blog spot for better customization. Right now, I enjoy talking about my bento making adventures in my blog :)

well yes, updating them once a week is very lack. Your blog can't hardly survive if you use the phases. At least try make one article in two days time. But make sure the article you post is a good quality too, or else it will end up hurting your blog repute. Thanks

Well, my first motivation was to make money, you know, I thought it could be possible and I started to get many information about traffic and how to get royalties from my blogs. As time passed, my blog became ranked at higher levels and it kept me from stopping. One day, I noticed that even if my blog was really good, I hadn't any valuable traffic, in fact I had almost none. So my interest in blogging started to go away. Surprisingly, even if I hadn't post anything on my blogs for 2 weeks, which is a really long time into blogging, I started to have a lot more visits and comments of people who were really happy of my blog. Then I thought: it's useful, I get to talk about what I enjoy the most in life, create pages on the web and people, that I don't even know, started to come and take the time to tell me that my work was good and that they coulnd't wait for updates! This is very nice and it made me realize that maybe someday I will get money, but mostly that my work and my knowledge was being recognize and approved by people! I also thougt that maybe one day I could start my own website from the content of my blog and then try to generate profits from it. You know one dream leads to another...

Well good for you to have a big dream. Well yes, one thing can lead to another, and maybe before you realize it you could already make a big news portal site, or maybe a social networking site, well who knows about the future. Best luck for you friend and thanks for responding this discussion.
