I invite everyone to discuss this topic since it can save somebody's life.
Most people, even physicians aren't familiar with the dangers of acidosis.
Acidic conditions in the body often result in health problems as cancer,
chronic fatigue, Candida Albicans, depression, IBS, arthritis, osteoporosis,
fyromialgya, MS, weight gain and more.
I invite you also to read my blog at http://healthy-body4u.blogspot.com for
more on the importance of keeping an alkaline body.
We had at home a case of swine flu (my grandaughter) and her body fought it
amazingly. She was drinking alkaline water (a 20 ounces bottle) 4 or 5 times
a day plus an off the counter medication for fever and other symptoms.
Her mom (my daughter) started with mild symptoms and she started drinking
more of the alkaline water since she was already drinking it regularly.
I saw how her symptoms were manifesting for a while and used to go away when
she increased the regularity and the amount of the water. Her symptoms were
coming and going for around 3 days. I think her situation was like that because
she eats a lot of acidic foods.
Myself didn't get the flu and I think it was because I was taking the alkaline
water 4 times a day since April. Of course I give God all the glory for
protecting us and for letting us know what we need to keep our bodies healthy.
Please go ahead and read my blog and add me as your friend;-)

What was the PH of the water you were drinking? I've read some testimonials on the net on how drinking alkaline water immediately improved whatever condition they have (like acid reflux). In some cases, I even see the instructions on ionizers that say people have to start from a lower alkalinity level because the detoxifying effect can make you dizzy. I drink Alkaline water too and I'm still waiting for some kind of buzz that will tell me something in my body is going right. Could it be the alkalinity level of my water (not too high)?

Hi cianoy
I'm sorry to answer late, I have been busy lately and I haven't
checked my emails or visited myLot lately.
Today checking my emails I found my myLot email saying I had an
answer to my post.
Ok, the first thing you will notice when you are becoming alkaline
is that your body response to disease is amazing.
For example you go outside, it is cold and windy, your nose got a
little stuffy, you sneezed few times and you say "oh oh I will get
sick". You know what to do, you start drinking your alkaline water
for the rest of the day and all the symptoms disappear.
See? You will notice a strength in you immune system. Bacteria and
germs can't survive an alkaline environment.
You need to drink half your weight in water a day. For instance if
your weight is 160 pounds you need 80 ounces of alkaline water a day
which is four 20 ounces bottles of water a day. Maybe that's why
you haven't seen any difference.
The water I drink is 9.9 alkaline. I get the sachets that make the
water alkaline and I drop one in a bottle of water, shake it for
15 seconds and let it rest for 5 minutes and then drink it.
One sachet lasts for 4 bottles of water. It means that you drink
your first 20 ounces of water and refill the bottle 3 more times
always shaking it 15 seconds and letting it rest 5 minutes before
drinking it.
Check my profile. Under my picture there is a link that gets you
to the site with a lot of information on it.

You need to take half your body weight in ounces of water.
For instance if a person weights 150 pounds she/he needs
75 ounces of water a day. That is at least 4 bottles of
water a day where each bottle contains 20 ounces of water.
If you weight 160 pounds you need 80 ounces of water a day.
Which is 4 bottles of 20 ounces of water each.
One sachet will last for the 4 bottles of water a day.
You drink one bottle of water and leave the sache inside
the bottle and refill it. Do this 4 times.
Next day use a new sache and do the same.
Check this alkaline vs. acid charts to select alkaline foods.

HI jerimiyah
There is a misunderstanding about what an acidic is,
What matters is not whether a food tests acidic in
a lab -- it's whether or not it's acidic to your body.
Lemons, for example test very acidic in a lab but are
very alkalizing in the body.
People also mis-combine their food creating even more acid
in the body.
I found this website that has an alkaline vs acidic food chart.
It will help you combine your food so your ulcers can heal.
Remember our meals should be 80% alkaline and 20% acidic to
keep a balance. Also alkaline water will to keep our
cells hydrated.
