Well, Bali is the greatest tourism attraction in Indonesia. It is a very beautiful island, with not only have a very beautiful beach, but also beautiful mountain and places. I spent 7 days there, although i go there because of office work but i still go to a few place there. I spend mostly in Kuta Beach since at that time i stay at mercure hotel that located in front of kuta beach. I also visit many places like Tanah Lot, Pecatu, karang asem, jimbaran, etc. Do you ever go to bali? How much time you spend there? And where do you? Also if you never go to bali, do you want to go there? Thanks

@adhyz82 : Well too bad you not spend a long time there, and even if you stay a weeks too bad you don't go to many places. Kuta was a must visit place if you go to Bali, although Bali has much more to offer then simply a Kuta beach, but it still one of the best place. @Tuporgb: You should be more optimistic, since you never know what the future gonna be. Maybe one day you have enough money to spend and have a good time in Bali. Just be positive.

I have been to Bali too, stayed in the same hotel as you. I spend 5 days 4 nights there. I like most of the scenery there especially Tanah Lot. My friends and I have incredible memory there. We climbed on the rock next to the temple. The moment we were on top, suddenly a wave came by and we cannot get back to the beach...all tourists who were enjoying the scene ran so fast to safer place. Left 5 of us standing there...It is awkward moment but memorable to all of us. I do wish I can go again...

Wow, it is actually a cool experience. And tanah Lot is a cool and beautiful place. It is really strange how a temple can stand there. And it is actually have a water source there which water is not sea water. Anyway, thanks for sharing your experience with us.

No, it not salty at all. Considering the temple located at the middle of the sea, it is really strange at all. Well i also take a picture with the monk there. They give me some rice in my head, i don't know what that mean but it is actually pretty cool. You should try them if you go there again, anyway, thanks for responding to this discussion my friend.

Ya...do you get to have a drink of the water in the temple? How does it taste like? Salty? When I was there, the queue was too long. The people either drink the water or use it to wash their hand and face. I only get to have a peek at the entrance due to the crowd.
