This is a problem with almost every teenager and even young men and women. I have heard that oily skin is very much prone to pimples and other spots. I know very little about this things. My friend is very much worried about her pimples.
Is there are any way she can reduce her pimples? Any medication? Any herbal treatment?

This is also my problem :(( My work is very stressful and i don't get a lot of sleep and when i have my period my pimples would really show. Very frustrating really, tried a lot of products already but nothing works for me :(( I tried to go to a dermatologist but all her advices fail. I think if you are really stressed it may also cause pimple. Will be trying some of your advices guys..

hi first of all u have to wash ur face regularly . that will keep ur skin fresh and revitalise the oxygen in it. and for medication most of the creams are available in the market but my doctor suggested me "erytop-a and futop-b" these two creams . they are very effectiive and shows effect in very short time. many time i apply the cream at night and at day time all the pimples are suppresed . just my very own skin left fresh . u can check the medicines with ur doctor also he will advice u the same thing .
one more thing my skin is oily type so i used to get pimples more often. now i wash my face at regular intervals . sometime when i feel that my face is getting oily or if it is not fresh then i just go and wash my face again . its refreshing.and u will get a habbit of it.do check the medicines from the doc in ur area .these are really worth .

A friend of mine used to have major acne issues and she tried almost every product she heard of and even went to a dermatologist to cure her acne. However, none of that worked and she stopped going to the dermatologist because it is so expensive. It is until she used the product Proactive that she experienced good results. She was uneasy with the product at first because she usually sees it in infomercials but when she searched Yahoo Answers about Acne, Proactive is their common answer. She tried it herself and continued using it and I can actually say that her face cleared up so I can somehow say that the product really works.

I know that visit to dermatologist can be very expensive and also yield no results. I have heard about Proactive and it has been newly launched in our country. It costs about $45 here in India. Its good to hear that it really works. I think I will tell my friend to give it a try.

It really depends on your skin type. If you have oily skin, keeping your skin clear and free from oil would do you good. Stay away from moisturizers. Most would recommend using astringents as well. If you have dry skin, stay away from astringents as it will make your skin drier. I actually have combination skin. My nose and forehead are somewhat oily and my cheeks are dry that's why I put moisturizer only on my cheeks.

Diet is one of the first places to look, but there are products on the market that can really help, and old fashioned one works over night for that pimple that pops up from stress, you know the one just before the big date. It's toothpaste, just put a spot on it and go to sleep in the morning it will be much better or even gone. Good luck

wash your face with a mild soap without scrubbers at least twice a day. Benzoyl peroxide also helps control pimples, it works by destroying the bacteria that causes acne. It basically work as antiseptic and oxidizing agent. It prevents the formation of blocked pores and it will require you to continually apply it for 2 to 3 weeks before seeing any appreciable results.

Never stayed late at night, sleep early each night. Don't worry too much as it will tend to show-up in your face. Not only did it will you look messy and worried but you will see pimples all around you face. And consult a dermatologist before trying any medication whether herbal, ointment or any other form of stuffs. Better to be safe than sorry, its our face we are talking about here.

1. Do not squeeze a pimple, which might cause the spread of bacteria and the apperance of permanent scar.
2. Wash face with cold water. 2 or 3 times a day.
3. Apply a bit of toothpaste to the affacted area before bed.
4. Go and see a doctor for advice.

I heard using toothpaste on the pimple overnight might shrink the pimple up to 3 times.Be sure, that the paste is not Gel type, or she wont get the effects.I used toothpaste and it worked for the first time. don't apply too mush or you she will burn herself
