I have both. I have a fairly basic plan on my cell phone. Most of the places that I drive (and the building where I work) have horrible reception. I make a lot a long distance calls, so I have a landline home phone with a national long distance plan.
I have considered changing to cell only, but can't find a plan (or provider) that meets all of my calling needs...probably talk a min of 5000 minutes during day hours each month.

Both, because my cellphone is based in another state and I wanted a local number for people in this area to reach me at. People get unhappy when you ask them to call long distance when you live across town!

That is what we have. Just about every one I know has the same cell company so when we call each other it does not affect our minutes.

I have both, ask my why I dont know. Well I thinking its because I give my home phone # to the people who annoy me the most.

I personal would give my cell number to those because you can silence the ring. You don't have to keep hearing it ring if you do not want to answer it.

Have both. i hate it when people only have cell - it may cost them less but costs you a lot more.

We tried that for a while too. My husband works for the cable company so we get a big discount but it still eas not worth keeping it as little as we used it.
