Do you prefer to cut fruits and eat them or eat as it is?

I prefer to eat the fruits apple, mango, guava etc. as it is, without cutting them. I get satisfaction only when I take it in hand, bite and eat them. My husband never eats like that. He always cuts the fruit, make them into easily eatable pieces and with the help of fork he eats it. Which one is your preference, cutting into pieces and eat or eating with full fruit in the hand?

Hi Buchi, it depends on what kind of fruits I eat. If taking bananas, citrus, grapefruits, rambutan and many other local fruits, I usually eat them after peeling the skin. I don’t cut them into pieces. I will rub the whole peeled pineapple with salt and then cut it into slices. The long slices would be more delicious with a bit of salty taste. sounds that the whole pineapple is too big for me to hold as well as to bite...
After washing the big size fruit, watermelon, I would then cut it into the appropriate size of slices. Each slice is still with skin attached. It’s quite convenient for us to hold the skin part and enjoy eating the sweet and juicy flesh on the top of its skin. Yeah, just like you, after the peeling, I like eating apple, mango and pear holding in my hand. Other than enjoying the biting and chewing, it’s still the best way to exercise our teeth and gum, as well as the muscle around our mouth
Happy posting

Yeah, for the sake of such benefit so it’s nice for us to keep on eating in the same way. How do you feel with the sound when doing the biting? Especially the harder one like apple I think it’s indecent and not elegant as well for a woman to eat fruit in this way in the public.
Thanks for the compliment my dear friend. It’s true that I enjoy writing here. I’m glad that at the moment I could write much fluently and faster. But sometimes I still find difficult when using certain words or vocabularies which I'm not so familiar with. I’m afraid that if using the incorrect or inappropriate ones would make a ridiculous fool I could hardly write more than 5 posts when I was new here. Very often I had to seek help from my husband, friends and dictionary I then could construct a decent sentence.
I will keep on writing post here now and then to enhance my writing skill. Hopefully all my good friends here do enjoy the fun posting here. I always emphasize that mylot is the best forum for us to improve our language, to meet good friends, to acquire new info and knowledge and to make money as well...

Very true. It is a good exercise for teeth, gum and muscle. Any response of yours is in detail. I feel you enjoy your writing and write. Then only the words will flow like water. You should have become a writer. Or probably you are already a writer.

I will eat fruit how ever it comes! I prefer to slice them though because it's less messy. My hubby doesn't care..he really doesn't eat fruit.

The combination of chat masala with fruit will be good. But more than that you add little pepper powder and honey and give the children. I give like this only as pepper will take away the bad effect of the fruit if any and helps for digestion and honey is good for health. Masala items are not good for health especially for children.

Very true. The crunch sound is tempting to eat and increases our urge to eat the fruit and enjoy well.

Hi aunty
I dont cut and eat all the fruits only few fruits i cut it like payaya etc. I dont cut the apple, mango, pears, guava, i have it like that only. We get more taste of the fruit, Once we cut the fruits, the citrus comes out while cutting itself so i dont preper to cut and eat them.

I lke to eat fruit as it is . If you want to take maximum benefit of eating fruit eat it in empty stomach without cutting it with a knife. After eating a fruit leave a gap of about an hour before you eat any other fruit. To get best nutritional results eat an hour before meals.Eat organic fruits and avoid canned , frozen and processed fruits. It contains large amount of sugar and preservatives. I love to eat full fruit in hand but others in my family prefer cut fruits.

It really depends. if i want to have fruit salad, i will cut them to smaller piece. if i just want fruit i always eat them directly.
I feel I'm too lazy to cut them and make a salad recently. In fact i even less eat fruit than before, because I'm busy with my internet business and I spend too much time on it. so I forgot I should eat fruit.
it's not good for my body. I should try to eat more. if i can have some to cut the fruit for me it would be very helpful.
