Hi friend, Most user have answered to use an effective antivirus. Antivirus is basically a protective software designed to defend your computer against malicious softwares, malware and so many other irritating things. I am a developer and working on antivirus for more than a year. And I have concluded that none of the antivirus is perfect as daily thousands of new viruses comes into picture and antivirus companies are unaware of them. They can not remove them. Best solution for your problem is LINUX operating system in place of windows OS. LINUX OS like fedora is well known for its security none of the virus can destroy your data or even change without your permission. exe files would not work on it. There are till now no virus in my knowledge is there which can work on such systems. Just the issue is that it is less friendly then Windows. Most of the companies utilize LINUX now a days for precious data security. Enjoy mylotting.

use any good antivirus and also use deepfreeze to freeze your hard drive. if this will not make your computer safe. use hard disk manager. this software can help you to make a back up of your drives. and your data are safe from virus. have a nice day

My husband is good with working on computers so I never have to worry about trojens or viruses my computer is always protected at all times. My husband had to fix my moms because of that now she don't have to worry about it because he put stuff on her computer to protect it. My moms computer was in the shop many times but not anymore. But I couldn't tell you what he does to the computer because I have no idea. I just let him do what he needs to do to my computer then I go back to work.

first you need to get an anti-virus software. you can make a system restore CD, so everytime your computer is infected, use system restore to get it to a safe point

You have to invest for a good antivirus, I mean don't just settle for Free antivirus you will find on the net as much as possible, use a antivirus with internet security, not just an anti virus but with internet security, unfortunately you have to buy it but they these 30 day trial free for download, you might want to try it first then just decide if it works for you then buy, I highly recommend kaspersky internet security, it really works for me

think about sites you searched after last format done,don't go in to those in future use FREE ANTI VIRUS like AVG to protect from VIRUS and Update it daily

u can use superantispyware software. it has real time hijack protection.. it is one of the reputed anyspyware. it has inbuilt popup blocker etc.. pls..rate me if it helped
